its a movie that uses a small amount of a true story which i might add lots of people do this... its not like every romeo and Juliet movie is true to the story there are variations.

They worked hard and it turned out the right amount of loveliness and darkness. It may not be true to the real story but it was still a masterpiece of a movie.

Thing is, I looked up Casenova's life, and the amazing thing is that none of this was made up - in fact, Casenova claimed that even more outrageous stuff happened that Russell T Davis thought would make it just too unbelievable, but many of the things Casenova wrote about his life, including his escape from prison, are proven facts.

He fucked up a lot of people. I mean, the way he treated his son was disgusting, no wonder he turned out to be so messed up. And not only that but Bellermina and his daughter too. Such a sad story for all involved. Just goes to show that you'll never be happy leading a hedonistic life. Brilliant movie though, I adore David Tennant! He is perfection. To play such a horrible person and yet make him completely redeemable, that takes skill.
