@ViseCity This is a street race and we all know that a street race is about who is the fastest. Thats why most evos on the street want to race from a roll and they dont usually let out til 150 ish and thats way past the 1/4. From a roll that evo would get owned. The cobra spun bad. you could hear him feathering the throttle. On the track with the right tires that evo still would get ate up. and letting out when you know your going to get beat is a bitch move.

Evo FTW! Those of you considering that the Cobra won you need to reconsider. Race started at 0:51 and the Cobra didn't catch up until 1:08 and by then you can clearly tell the Evo had let off. So unless these cars are running like 17 second E/T's then clearly the Evo won. I have a buddy with a 03' whipple cobra around 600whp and me on my stock e85 evo 8 turbo around 400awhp and from a dig I get him every time especially on the street due to traction. Launching and traction is part of racing.

@DanSVT03 depends on the size of the turbo in the cars as I said early 15psi on a k03 and 15psi on a t67 are two totally different games. if its the same turbo then I would hope to god that the ls7 made more then a 2.0liter 4cyl. Evo FTW! Those of you considering that the Cobra won you need to reconsider. Race started at 0:51 and the Cobra didn't catch up until 1:08 and by then you can clearly tell the Evo had let off. So unless these cars are running like 17 second E/T's then clearly the Evo won. I have a buddy with a 03' whipple cobra around 600whp and me on my stock e85 evo 8 turbo around 400awhp and from a dig I get him every time especially on the street due to traction. Launching and traction is part of racing.

The Top of 4th is where your at in the 1/4 with a cobra.--Thats with stock gears, so im sure he had atleast that. It was about a 1/4 Race Both 11 sec cars, but from a roll--Which is what most street racing is all about, cobra takes the win. Good race though.

Why is most street racing all about roll racing? This wasn't a roll racing match so don't bring it up. These guys are all about the dig runs where it's about the driver, traction, launch, power, gearing, and so on. Roll racing is just a power race.
