matt and padge have often used les pauls (before padge was with ESP.) and a lot of metal greats use the les paul. check out zakk wylde. and the dude from Danzig.

actually your wrong padge has alawys used ESP the esp Eclipse looks just like the les paul and is a metal version of it although yes matt tuck does use a les paul on songs such as say goodnight or eye of the storm. But another thing is they use les pauls for studio work because they are great for the studio

umm.. the first part sounds ok i guess, but i play it different and ive seen some other people play it different too and in a way it sounds better, but ur way is good too, except after like from 9 to 15 sec. that part is all wrong, and sounds nothing like the actual solo, other than that everything is good, good job too... :D
