Just mind your own business! Why do you interject yourself into these situations? You're not the media. You're not police. You have absolutely nothing to do with the situation. So don't act surprised when you are questioned, because this is very suspicious behavior--especially to LEOs who never know what dangers they will encounter from crazies in their line of work. Just let them do their job and go on your way. Maybe you should join the force if this is such a big deal to you.

You don't know why the clerk wouldn't want you there? The clerk didn't care one way or the other! The officer was throwing out a ration of BS. First, it was you are standing on a crime scene. Second, it was the clerk doesn't want you on the property. If it was a crime scene then it didn't matter what the clerk wanted, the officer would just tell you to leave. And if it was a crime scene and the cop didn't want you there why did he keep you on it for so long?
