Hey Dan! Cool playing, but it´s more of a swing don´t you think? I´m working on something similar myself, so I know how hard it is to keep going, not making any mistakes and keeping a groove like this interesting. Maybe if you keep the song a little shorter, you'll be able to spread your lines more. Also, you won't have to keep going for as long, and are likely to make less mistakes.
That's just what I found fiddling around with this.Hope it helps, great playing!!
Nice job Dan. You had a very nice groove with some great licks and nice use of OB toward the end. I like your rig, Sounds good ! Thanks for posting I enjoyed it !
Are you using somekind of impedance transformer with the sm 57?? if you not you would be surprised at the difference it makes since you mic is a Low Z and your amp probably a High Z. You would get twice the volume with a better compressed tone.
Tony, thanks for the suggestion. I'm not using any kind of converter, and it's funny that you mention it because Dan Gage told me the same thing yesterday.
I will look in to getting one. Do you have any suggestions? I'm a dummy when it comes to equipment.
Well...I think it's perfect for the show on stage! Your technique is good (in fact I'm jealous of your technique) and it sounds great. You seem to rush yourself sometimes but I think you did a great job. I made some sh*t yesterday and I shouldn't put it on YT... BTW nice hat!
very nice!

I just taped a similar video this morning, but didn't like it enough to put it on the tube. I'm glad I didn't. Yours is much better.

Dude, I almost gave up playing in the middle of taping this. Really not happy, with ALOT of the lines I played.
