I don't know how to say this so it doesnt sound bad, but in a way I'm kinda glad they aren't super famous here in the US.

Honestly, the US music world sucks....and I see Korean pop as a special secret, where people only like it because they like THEM. Unlike in US music, people are only "fans" cuz they heard one song by them.

They're back in Korea recording their next Korea album. They will promote that album next month.

They have been in the States the past few months filming a movie that will air on Teen Nick early next year. It will be called "Wonder Girls at the Apollo" and they are the stars of the movie. Their American album will be the movie soundtrack.

Look, as much as I am a paid up kpop fan, and I think that it should be spread to the west more, I do feel that in this performance some of the members kind of didn't really come up to par. It seems to me that it is hard for kpop to go to America because they are 1) so produced with the artistry stamped out - I listen for the entertainment factor, and 2) it is very asian and "girl-bandy". I am half-Chinese, so don't blast me, and as you can see boy and girl bands are not the "in" thing now.

a lot of people say wonder girls failed miserably in america, but i think differently... although they were not topping the billboard charts successful, they did make it to #76. however, they did better than previous kpop artists who tried to enter the american market... they probably made it a bit easier for the next kpop artist who enters the american market. they did something for kpop, but i think JYP should've promoted them differently instead of with the jobros. thatll only get them so far
