Light would have either won BECAUSE EVERYBODY would have DIED, or he would of lost anyway. people need to get over the fact that N beat Light,seriously. of course when L died they HAD to put in another character to replace, or "stand in for" L, so thats where N comes in......without L here & nobody else there, Light would have won, or the storyline would of gone out of wack, because Light wouldn't hav an enemy. people need to get over it!

@VietCat13 Sorry to respond so late. I think you should tell your friend that Near is great because he finished what L started. He also believed in the shinigami right away, when L didn't. Near also finished the case to bring honor to L and Mello. :-)
