Matt has brought Pearl Jam to its fullest, PJ in a lot ways is a band about unique grooves, Matts playing is perfect. They are known as one of the best live bands in the WORLD. Every PJ drummer has been great, but Matt is genius. FACT
I have to say that I like the newer Pearl Jam stuff...this song is amazing!!! Yield!!!! Great album. Everyone who only listens to Ten or Vs. need to grow up with PJ :)
wow, i hate the way pearl jam plays live ever since matt joined the band. You can totally hear how he accelerates every song. You can tell Stone started at a slower tempo and then Matt just pushed it. Irons and Abbruzzesse use to put more feeling into the riffs, not just speed. idk, matts a great drummer for sound garden but not for PJ.
