@preethamable I don't understand why anyone would go so far as to say that they hate the PS3. I mean hate is a very strong word, has the PS3 offended you personally by existing or something? If you don't like the PS3, or simply prefer the Xbox 360, then that's fine. But when outstanding games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 1 and 2, LittleBigPlanet, Demon's Souls and inFamous exist exclusively on the PS3, you just can't justify running it down completely.

@garder14 What are you playing? In order to gain EXP you have to win the game, or if it is Free For All, like Rumble Pit, you can get 2nd to gain EXP. If you play Action sack you will not get any no matter win or lose. Also quitting deducts -1 EXP.

Don't worry, Halo Reach will be better in this aspect and is easier for you to get armor and other neat things. If you want to add me let me know.

@garder14 You can get different armor by doing different achievements. The weapons don't change, this isn't like COD or Battlefield. It does take more skill than games like MW2 because of the shields, but don't let to hinder your experience. I would also recommend Halo Reach that comes out in a month. Lots of great things coming.

They are fixing the clunkiness of forge in Halo Reach. I'm not trying to correct you, I'm just telling you the good things about halo and how they're improving the bad things.

I have to say, from a pure spec point, the PS3 is most definitely better than the 360, for a multitude of reasons.

1: PSN is free.

2: PS3 is priced very well now.

3: PS3 exclusives (LBP, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2) are much better than 360 exclusives (Halo 3, GOW2, DOA4, NInja Gaiden 2, etc.)

4: PS3 has much better hardware than the 360. Microsoft did a horrible, horrible job with the hardware this time around. Intercooler's are stupid because they take power from the 360 itself.

I mean For me, the wii is on par with the 360 as a gaming console due to the wii vc having some of the greatest games ever made on it and the ps3 is a slightly weaker gaming experience than the other 2 but on the whole it's a well designed one and has some impressive titles. So basicaly all 3 consoles are fantastic but I have a preference more towards the wii and 360

good hardware wont break down all of a sudden, like my own 360 did just 2 weeks ago, i just got it back from the repair center.

P.S. i still think that xbox overall is better though (good servers, xbl is really nice, awesome games, nice controllers and very cheap compared to a gaming computer and a ps3.)

Halo 1 was released in 2001. Call of Duty 1 was released in 2003. So your theory of Call of Duty creating Vehicle Combat is false.

Also, yes. PS2 did feature online play about the time Xbox did. However, so few people bothered with it because of limited games that featured online play. When Halo 2 came along of course, Xbox Live became flooded with thousands and then soon millions of people.

The Dreamcast started online gaming. There were many games that started online gaming (even before with MMORPG's), but they didn't work out so well. The Halo Series enhanced it. Wolverine Adamantium Rage on the SNES and Genesis was the first game to feature recharging health.
