  • such a fantastic step!

  • Irish commentary was: "little pick and go, stringers gonna go on his own, offloaded, paul o' connel, feeds it on, AND IT'S HEASLIP AND HIS GOT PACE, AND A STEP, JAAMMIIEEE HEAAASLIP, WHAT A TRY!, spanish commentary: TRY, TRY, TRY, TRY, TRY ,TRY , TRY , TRY, TRY TRY!

  • my cousin

  • @RenandSol no way! really :)

  • @AversiveWheel8 yeah lol his dad is my dads uncle so im pretty sure we're cousin lol

  • i dont want to brag but my godfather is friends with him so i know him :) he is a nice guy.

  • @cyberdragon9721 You're right not to brag - Its your godfather who knows him personally, not you! :P

  • @dadubs93 yeah i know but ive met him a lot

  • Saw him in town today. He is ENORMOUS.

  • how on earth does heaslip step poitrenaud (or was it medard?)

  • ireland is either the best or second best team in the world for scoring from first or second phase ball.

  • tommy bow is just fucking unstoppable :D

  • @Neekatron He was the only irish player tackled in the whole video

  • jamie is magic he pulls a trick out of his hat at any time

  • jamic is a beast he is my favourite rugby player

    that try was unbelieveable

jamie is the best no'8 in europe and the world

  • this was my 15 birthday :D what a day it was, ireland hammered france

  • Get over it lads enjoy they game only thing worse then bad losers is bad winners!

i mean so much bitching and all it proves is who has the most time to spend writing arguments over the net !

  • Jamie Heaslip has nothing between his ears! He cost Ireland any chance of their first win against the AB's. Ronan O'gara just as stupid!![ why was he picked in the first place? Always a liability against N.Z.] What should have been a tough game turned into a stroll in the park. Forget about the second half it was all over by half time!!

  • @wjamre Your a fuckin retard!!..how can you say he has nothing between his ears...he is the best number 8 in the northern hemisphere you tool..Everyone makes mistakes,it was completely out of character but we were never gonna beat the all blacks with or without him!!''Ronan O'Gara just as stupid''...Stop talkin shit you fool!!..maybe we should make you the fuckin manager and see how good you are you little retard! We will gain a lot from that loss..we showed great character in 2nd half!

  • @willytownman94 The only reason that you even looked competitive in the second half was because we took alot of our first choices off and gave our new, up and coming Players a chance for some experience and to test there abilities at the international level.

    P.S. Brian O'Driscoll is shit.

  • @taweraster Great town Kai!!

My father grew up in Salcombe street.

How's the whitebaiting these days? Was great in the sixties, huge nets on car roofs, and kerosene tins full sitting in the wash-house. The smell of coal in the air! Great days!!

  • @taweraster what do you mean "we took alot of our first choices off". You don't play for the team, Your just some fat fuck sitting in a basement watching the game...!!

  • @DarkDevil1251 I meant we as in our Country, the Nation that the All Blacks play for, but you knew that, you just used that as an excuse to insult me because your inferior Country fails at everything, nice job at the FIFA World Cup by the way, oh that's right ummm your Country wasn't there hehehehehehehe.

  • @taweraster wh

who gives a fuck about football, you sheep shagger...

  • @DarkDevil1251 Basically more than 200 countries do.

    Tee hee.

P.S. That's a terribly out-of-date insult which fails on so many levels, it's such a generic insult that it makes Soulja Boys music look unique.

    Tee hee hee.

P.P.S. That reported sheep shagger was Welsh.

  • @taweraster yea ur right insulting wont get anyone anywhere...

just keep the were superior to yourself till next and if use win d world cup i might consider apologizing? lol

  • @willytownman94 Nothing between your ears either little man.I see you speak the same language as Paul Oçonnell, another Irishman yet to have a decent game against the AB's! All talk no reults!!

Still I must say the best no 8 on the field on the day does have an Irish name!!

What will you gain from that loss and the two more to come on tour?

You could see the look on O'Driscolls face after 10 mins [here we go again]

Best no 8 in the north?? Big deal.

  • @willytownman94 best number 8 in the northern hemisphere means nothing, there isnt 1 irish player good enough to play in any tri nations team, and yes he has nothing between his ears, he proved that on the weekend, showing great character is what the losing team says, who cares they lost..again, and will continue to lose if this is the best they could send, dont whine that the irish left top players behind...its called depth

  • @drunkenjudgement

Ireland punch well above their weight in rugby, its not our most played sport, you lose alot of players to GAA ,Hurling and football, so as far as "depth" were getting there.

If ur a kiwi rugby is no.1 played sport down there I gather. when's the last time use won a world cup with all your "depth"....

  • @DarkDevil1251 actually the last time we won a world cup was in 2007, and i aint a kiwi

  • big deal about punching above your weight, bottom line is, ireland are a tier 2 rugby nation, and dont even deserve to be the world cup

  • wat a try

  • haha this was on my birthday :P what a birthday it was

    ireland destroyed france

  • guy is a beast... end of

  • jamie heaslip, he has pace and a step

  • as a munster man i feel sorry for leamy heaslip is complety immense

  • Some amazing team work here!!! jesus the basic hand skills would get them far! Heaslip has some foot work for a huge guy x x

  • Great try! And what a Nb 8!!

  • I´m 17 years old and I´m from the Basque Country and I love Ireland!! I play rugby in a club from here in the back row and Jamie Heaslip is a great number eight!!

    incredible try!!

The last day against England I enjoyed like a children with the match!!

    Thanks for ireland´s rugby!

  • @lozanochoel8 Good stuff. Glad to see some one from outside the country supporting the team!

  • @samsemtex I play rugby in a team bilbao as third line and I love the Irish team! Ireland. I pray for winning the 6

  • @lozanochoel8

pero tio el rugby Gales es mas guapo no? vamos a ver despues 4 de febrero que tiene lo mejor rugby en el norte, jajaja. quizas veremos espana jugando en el estadio Millenium en el futuro!!

  • savage try

  • beauty. o'connell the back! watch o'driscoll pat tommy bowe on the back at 1.11. watched this match in a french bar and hats off to them they bought us drinks after!! heaslip is a winner

  • Spies, Parisse and Heaslip - 3 best number 8's in the world...I'm Irish and I know I'm bias but I wouldn't swap Heaslip for anyone

  • @Niallersz forget about spies, heaslip totally outshone him on the lions tour. the best 8s are parisse, harinordoquy, and heaslip (who will soon enough be the best)

  • @Niallersz I agree i think he's got even better since

  • @Niallersz Harinordoquy is better than all of the above.

  • @mnnh1 Too inconsistent man!!!!

  • @Niallersz hmmmm, Keiran Read made Spies look like an idiot earlier this season.

  • @TheMorsey007 your right mate but i made this comment 6 months ago so i was basin what i said on Spies form with the Bulls and SA...Read has made a major impact, no doubt about it

  • @Niallersz Yeah, he really is maturing as a player, but just wait, Spies is just out of form atm, it happens to all players, he'll be back.

  • @Niallersz mate Palu is better than Spies and Heaslip, actually Kieran Read is a beast as well, he embarrassed pierre spies a few times this season. Rate them both, Spies is just a massive muscly muppet who doesn't like to tackle. His junior coaches should have turned him into a big winger

  • @MatthewHolt11 he ust 2 play in the centres.........

  • @MatthewHolt11 no bud heaslip is the best right now!!! palu has serious potential but blows hot and cold!!!!!

  • @Niallersz I agree but i think spies is very overrated!! Heaslip is the best right now and leamy is coming back to his best form!! leamy was the best in 06 and if he gets back to that form Ireland will be spoilt 4 choice at no. 8!!!

  • @MrMunster10 I'm not so sure, i still think Spies is an awesome force and i rather him not being in the team when Ireland play the Boks..Yeah Leamy is coming back hard and is really picking up form..What would a backrow of Ferris No.6, Leamy No. 7 and Heaslip No.8 look like...Davy Wallace, as great a player hes been, cant last forever..we need to plan for next year..Leamy is an 8 or a 6 but Wallace was never the conventional num 7 either...

  • @Niallersz ya gud point!!!!! ya spies is an awesome ball carrier alri!!!! ya but 4 these autumn internationals, i think after this weeknds heineken cup action dat it wil b leamy 6, sean o,brien 7 and heaslip 8!!! i taut leamy was excellent against leinster, o,brien was unbelieveable at the weeknd n heaslip was excellent!!! wallace will prob b on the bench as cover 4 all 3 positions!!! ferris is still injured isnt he???

  • brilliant stuff !!

  • saw him in graces on christmas eve!the heineken cup, irelands grand slam, unbeaten for the year, irb player of the year nomination, and in the form of his life-he's the pride of the town!

  • Don't forget he started 3 tests for the Lions!

  • @mwwhahahahahaha I think the self service taps in Graces are the pride of the town. It's like getting hammered in the future.

  • ah no!i want the seats back!same in lawlors-wtf is goin on in that new "room" they have.next thing ye know tommy fletcher will be hostin live music on a tuesday night and installin telly screens behind the bar

  • yes but its not just the excellence of heaslip but also the ground made of the line-out the passage of play from the set phase to kearney to the offload to Bowe, then the fast recycle the fast thinking turn round pass by O'Connel and then the pace, step and power of Jamie's try :)

  • decent step for a forward. close second to heymans

  • what a step! Don't know if it's the best, but great try.

  • great try but i think cedric heyman's just eclipses this

  • brilliant stuff!

i suppose we can forgive him borrowing that jacket from jedward if he keeps scoring tries like that!! ;)

    Great team effort!!

  • Superb team try. Looking forward to February.

  • @ baatenburg Yeah, No Irish player got it this year I'm afraid, sligomfc is right. But it was a key moment in Irelands Grand Slam, we were down by a point and that series of play was top notch. Here's to 2010, you never know.....

  • i'd forgotten how great this try was. who got player of the year over BOD in the end?

  • Reply to baattenburg:

    McCaw got it, again *sigh*

  • McCaw got it .... despite being completely overshadowed by Brussouw each time NZ played SA. Brussouw was a "find." One SA player who really looked good.

  • wah.. amazing teamwork!

  • 'Paul O'Connell feeds it on..' What a class try

  • Let's hope Heaslip gets this after BOD being robbed of the Player of the Year!

  • Great great try with many fine contributions and a great build up combined with a superb finish close runner for try of the year

  • what a try

  • One of the best no 8 , Ireland has ever produced .Lacks a bit of bulk thoug !!!!!!!!!!Irish by heart .
