Fievel's Little Song

The album was recorded to help promote and coincide with the release of the movie 'Fievel Goes West'. Versions of 'Dreams To Dream' and 'Somewhere Out There' from the movie were included in the collection, but the rest of the songs were not in the film.

@mrkross Oh okay, and I have heard the whole album, it has excellent renditions of "Somewhere Out There" and "Dreams to Dream". I especially liked hearing the young Phillip Glasser sing "Somewhere Out There". I was just wondering if there were ever any bigger plans for some of the songs and they just didn't make the cut or something, but I guess not.

Wow, thanks for your work on this, a lot of the songs off the "Fievel and Friends" album are really good! Especially "Poor Fievel" and "Fievel's Point of View", those are my favorites.

Were any of these songs ever meant for the movies? I heard some songs got cut from the films for time.

@jaudue12 This isn't just a period of history. Don Bluth who first wrote An american tail had a jewish grandfather named Fievel who immigrated to NYC from Russia during this time as a little boy. So it was inspired by real people too not just the time period.
