You are God damn right bout Harrison. I watched this game...actually, at 14..I watched almost every game. Enzo hit one almost exactly the same against us in Round 2 which cannoned back off the post ( ha ha! )..just before Gazza chipped in a delightful last minute freekick into their box..Preude-Homme was static, but David Platt, letting the ball drop over his right shoulder, turned on the spot to hook in a fantastic winning right foot volley. Am getting goose-bumps just thinking about it! Ace

@chamone76 And that goal cost us a possible world cup, because at that time Belgium was at its best with a Scifo at its heigth but because of Platt it wasn't to be. We certainly would have beaten the Germans! And if it wasn't for the goalposts Belgium -England would've been 3-0! We dominated from start to finish!
