MTV is what happen to our great bands from the 70's,80's. By the time of music television came along we stopped listen and started judging bands by their looks. Now look at the music industry, where is the passion, the feelings are gone. All that is there is bling, as a falling star comes and goes. Bands don't last this days, do they?

April Wine was my first concert in Baton Rouge,LA. Back in the day they got good airplay but they were faded out. Still,like ZZ Top- they just play on- and on,and on,and on! Jerry Mercer,the drummer just finally retired- he turned 70. but the band still tours. For any band to stay together and keep playing that long really inspires me. Peace, -g
