Die Komponistin hat das Stück zusammen mit Mitgliedern von Elbtonal Percussion 1998 in Hamburg an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater uraufgeführt! Aufnahme des Originals z.B.: 100 Jahrfeier Edeka mit Elbtonal Percussion!
This IS really a performance of Manfred Menke's "Tischmusik". The composer himself likes this version, as he posted it on his website and wrote "Eine sehr gute Show macht das französische QUARTET KU daraus". As you noticed, the music of the middle section has been modified to suit the staging, which is absolutely original, authentic and not "abgekupfert".
