However the other side may still qualify them as civilians if they regard the US as having invaded and the civilians as having resorted to self-defence. It is, in essence, a difference in perspective.

Saying that the documents are fine to be released because any harm that might come of it is speculative is like saying that drunk drivers should be free to drive the streets because them hitting someone else is also pure speculation.

Yeah he is affected in some way, unless he is epileptic and was having some sort of mild absence seizure. Very unlikely though. My assessment is that he was doped out but also slightly euphoric - he was holding back a smile a few times there. Maybe valium? Slow, almost laboured speech, slow eye blink including screw up eyes while blinking, difficulty linking ideas. Good comprehension but slow slow slow. @liarpoliticians When a civilian takes up arms against a soldier they are an irregular armed combatant under int'l law and feign civilian status in war. If civilians attack US soldiers, they aren't counted as civilian deaths by the US, they are combatant deaths just like normal enemy soldiers. However the other side may still qualify them as civilians if they regard the US as having invaded and the civilians as having resorted to self-defence. It is, in essence, a difference in perspective.
