  • WTF!!!!????

  • can his erxplanation hold up in court when he has such an obvious drug problem? is he getting payed for testifying against Manning?

  • this nigga is high as shit.

  • The man is obviously a compulsive liar

  • Adrian Lamo = Cypher

  • Lamo is possibly on valium for nerves, or something more sinister for mind control.

  • @Illimitus Naw he's just a scummy junkie.

  • What is this guy on??? And why is he on it??? To me, he's trying to FORGET that he's betrayed the only one who had the ability and audacity to expose war crimes and crimes against humanity by the last evil empire - our own govenment - which has committed MONSTROUS atrocities both at home and abroad. And now Bradley Manning, the hero he's betrayed, is being tortured - psychically crucified, really - by restrictive solitary confinement undedr the euphemism "Prevention Of Injury."

    Karma bites.

  • Lamo looks stoned out of his mind

  • those with blood on their hands are the criminals in Washington who sent young soldiers to kill families in Afghanistan

  • all that needed was drool to come out of his mouth.

  • is this guy high

  • the new poster child for the far right, on massive doses of afghanistan's finest heroine. the irony is too much...

  • What the hell is Lame-o on?

  • That guy looks like he's on some heroin. Not only is he a piece of shit snitch, he fucking LAME as hell.

  • The government takes our privacy away, yet amplifies their own. Shameful.

  • That guy Adrian is on drugs

  • America in on the tipping edge of tyranny. Was is, as usual, the wedge being used by politicians to destroy freedom.

  • Wow!. The Admiral talking about blood on hands must be living in his warmongering, lying, degenerate, immoral delusional world again. An Empire that has fighter jets, attack helicopters, drone bombers operated out of a warehouse, armored vehicles, the most powerful missiles and hand-held weapons in history and they complain that someone who passed on historical information is causing them hardship. What a disconnect between their propaganda and reality. The political class lies us into war.

  • Eh, blood of soldiers that are doing the nefarious bidding of the military industrial complex? Soldiers that are not living up to their oaths? Soldiers that are not doing the right thing and going AWOL? Soldiers that are in the business of blowing up brown people the world over? Oh well. To bad, so sad.

  • The blood of a soldier on his hands? Other than hyperbole, does this statement mean anything? "Might have" connotes a guess on the part of the person using the phrase. The stern fellow with the medals on his chest should know better but no doubt has little else to hurl out due to the massive reams of info just released about his organization; removing the sterility from this war. His only remaining tactic is to appeal to that last refuge of a scoundrel: patriotism.

  • Come on now, Lamo is STONED! This should be clear to anyone who has worked with druggies.

Admiral Mullen took an oath "to uphold and protect the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic". The Constitution states only Congress shall have the power to declare war. Congress abrogated this power to the president, but by doing so, they acted illegally as they cannot change the Constitution by simply "voting" to do so. This entire group are therefore War Criminals.

  • Please tell us, Admiral Mike Mullen, just exactly how much blood do you have on YOUR hands?

  • Lamo is a sick govt stooge....Manning may be too we don't know. What is obvious is that the huge American govt apparatus to collect information on U.S. citizens, assassinate people and control peoples lives and opinions is the greatest danger to freedom we face.

  • @GeoffreyTransom

There's a five hour fucking time difference. Cut him some slack.

  • Why'd they keep this guy on, when he's obviously out of his face?

  • Was Lamo drunk or what?

and what kind of button is that on his jacket? It looks familiar...

  • @KaptinObvious

what tactics were revealed? like the Taliban and local don't know what goes on in the own communities, they know when the Americans raid and kill women and children in their village. they know about the death squads and the hit list. it's just right wing stooges in America that are afraid of the truth.

  • @KaptinObvious What information that was released by Wikileaks endangered any soldier?

  • @liarpoliticians I don't know the actual threat to anyone concerned due to this incident, but do take exception to KaptinObvious' apparent hook, line, and sinker-support for the government's tales.

This wasn't the best way to get this broadcast, but the need for better accountability from the Pentagon and the White House admin. is more than apparent. Our military's actions are owned by all Americans, and I for one would like to know the truth about what is done in my name.

  • @liarpoliticians 90,000 military operational documents will no doubt contain useful information that will help the enemy more effectively prosecute their side of the conflict. What was in the documents that the public needed to know?

  • @KaptinObvious : WHAT 'military tactics' the Hell you talking about? You're a perfect example of moral & intellectual bankruptcy re: dumbed-down gullible lazy public that has squandered the rights and duties of American citizenship in exchange for security & convenience as an indentured programmed lemming. You're an insult, offense & impediment to the ideals of freedom, personal responsibility & political accountability. Facile conceit can never be an effective substitute for integrity.

  • Dear @KaptinObvious

Please pull your head out your butt. I fear you'll suffocate.

The entire point of the leak was to the show number of innocent people OUR soldiers killed.

    I-N-N-O-C-E-N-T.

Why is okay to murder the "brothers and sisters" of innocent Afghans then cover it up?

What if the leak exposed thousands of safety violations the military had failed to fix?

Would that be okay to leak?

Again, why can't I hate people who cover up the murder of innocent citizens?

  • @GenjiKilpatrick The fact that make your point with WHAT IF is supremely ASSININE. You think that finding mistakes and bad calls that happen in war should be prosecuted because it's your way of "sticking it to the man." Yes innocents have and will die. However it puts your position it total perspective when you profess that even if there is a chance we can find an innocent killed (when we know it happens) that risking the lives of our troops is of no concern. Fuck the troops is your mantra!

  • @KaptinObvious

Wait, so the innocent will die and that's okay.

NOT IF the Taliban kill them tho.

If our troops happen to murder a few then cover it up.. that's okay cause..

Look how many innocent people the Taliban murdered!!

It's less fuck the troops. More "Fuck anyone who has double standards when humans are killing humans"

Only a hypocrite would say it's an awful war crime if "THEY" murder civilians.

Tho it's perfectly fine if "WE" murder civilians by error.

    It's the same thing

  • @GenjiKilpatrick Your position is NOT "Less fuck the troops. It is totally fuck the troops. snap out of it.!. Your desired actions absolutely says fuck the troops, moron. You are oblivious to what the military provides you. It is obvious you care more about non Americans and I would venture you HATE Americans as they stand today. If there is another terrorist attack it needs to happen to you or your family. You don't deserve our protection. Nuff Said.

  • @KaptinObvious

Of course I care about non-americans. THEY'RE HUMANS TOO!

Why is it okay to murder innocent non-americans?

Tho you flip your shit when guys who signed up to die in battle.. might maybe get killed possibly but not really.

Military doesn't provide anything but security for people in power.

    Which isn't you.

If you are a soldier you don't mean anything. You're ammunition.

You're a tool of war just like a bullet or bomb

And you're just as bad as the people you hate

  • @GenjiKilpatrick BTW. Answer the question. How much effort have you put into discovering the taliban kill count of the Afghan civilians? If this number hasn't motivated your altruistic cause then you are a FAKE!. Civilian casualties are not your issue. What have you determined?

  • Comment removed

  • @GenjiKilpatrick Where is your effort to find out how many I-N-N-O-C-E-N-T-S have been killed by the Talliban? FAR MORE that killed by our own troops. Do you care about that no you hypocrite, you're just a government hater. That's all you are.

  • Great work Assange!

  • Holy crap I think you're right, they had to have either drugged or lobotomized Lamo to get the information from him. Watch his body language, the man looks like nothing more than a Zombie. What did the government do to him?

  • Mr. Lamo gives me the creeps.

  • Ah I see that new lobotomy for all patriotic citizens of our fair country is working out nicely on our Lamo test subject.

  • the way i see it is if the government is doing something that they feel they need to classify or keep secret then they shouldn't be doing it to begin with. 100% transparency.

  • The General in this clip mentioned (paraphrasing) that if we have a problem with policy, then to take up with the leaders (the generals), not to leak documents ... Sure, that'd be all fine and dandy if only there were a forum to do so. Well, hello, there is no forum. Therefore equally drastic measures - such a leaking - will occur to balance out the treachery of this war.

  • wow, Lamo is about as exciting as a case of Hemorrhoids.

  • LOL wtf is he on???!!

  • you can't run a national security state, without turning people into informers... in addition, of course, to the paid informers working for the goverment, mr. lamo is but the tip, albeit a drugged one, of the ice burg of informers just under the security system.

  • God... he's so difficult to listen to. Is there something wrong with him? Is he nervous?

  • is Lamo high on zanax?

  • Is he sleepy or is he trying to read from a screen?

  • Adrian Lamo look like he need some sleep or took to much drugs.

  • @C37p8 watch?v=OjhlhwW9d4A

  • Christ, that Lamo guy looks like a re-animate corpse.

  • By the way, Lightnin', have you volunteered to serve in Afghanistan instead of just being a pu--y REMF cheerleader stateside?

    - John Q Eniac

  • @White LightningNC

...always good to have a mindless inbred southern cracker diluting the comments with his page after page of repetitious salute-the-flag-crap. There are half a million Iraqis and four thousand mostly young Americans dead, as well as 20000 americans with their legs , arms and parts of their heads blown off, because of unthinking obedience to the stupid, corrupt american king in pursuing his pre-emptive attack based entirely upon lies.

    - John Q Eniac

  • Saying that the documents are fine to be released because any harm that might come of it is speculative is like saying that drunk drivers should be free to drive the streets because them hitting someone else is also pure speculation.

I just love how all these pompous, protected people back home think they're so fucking entitled to this information, even though it might kill someone. When they're so far removed from the consequences, it's easy for them to make such claims.

  • How open should government be with information?

That is a very easy question!

The answer is 100% NOTHING AT ALL SHOULD BE SECRET.

  • @therealgrizzly

    You're naive.

  • Adrian Lamo.. Search him on youtube you'll see he is a perfectly normal human .. But not in this video, I bet it has something to do with the goverment.

  • @AGreenWallSnipes

Or the five hour time difference. He is in the US, being interviewed by the BBC.

  • Aside from looking like he's been shot up with sodium penathol, Lamo now considers himself in the "interdiction" business. As if we needed further evidence he is acting as a government agent.

  • What the hell is this guy on?

  • @Zenjamin

Sleep deprivation. There's a five hour time difference between the US and the UK.

  • lol fucking scumbag killer

  • the guy looks like hes high on heroin or some other strong opiate.

  • @diewont

It's sleep deprivation. There's a five hour time difference between the US and the UK.

  • Adrian Lamo is not normal.drugged or what ?

  • That guy is drunk and then some.

  • 9/11 "Masterminds" George Bush Sr. and Robert Gates.

  • Does Lamo have Asperger's? I read that a long time ago.

  • @slimpepper Probably. Aspies tend to follow the rules of authority very well.

  • he didnt get the point about "how REAL human beings act"

  • “Talking to strangers was really hard for me,” Lamo says. “I had to script it all in my head and act out normal behaviors in a very conscious way. Essentially, I had to learn how human beings act.”

  • This hacker snitch VOLUNTEERED as a analyst for "Project Vigilant" (type it in google it has a homepage) which is a private company that SPIES ON ISPs around the US and all of their users and then reports that info to the Federal Gov, in other words he is literally a volunteer snitch IN GENERAL and was so well before he sold out the one american with the balls to expose US crimes.

  • around 6:30 hes starting to wake up a little, too late tho

  • from 3:30 , look at his eyes, the guys deffinately reading his response, hes even pausing and streching "theeeeree .. iiisszz" etc. cuz its not being "fed" to him fast enuff, and hes already not the fastest talker lol

  • Do you guys remember when the goverment was ran FOR the people? Yeah I dont either

  • hes a puppet, too bad they photoshopped out the strings ;)

  • See those epaulettes? You don't get those without having blood on your hands at some point. so lose the tone there, sparky.

  • Thumbs up for courageous people like Heather Brooke!

  • before this interview this guy was grabbing his ankles

  • What exactly is the mission general

  • Lamo must've been rewarded for his service with CIA issue tranquilizers.

Scumbag, Leech and Tool. I'd sooner die.

  • Yeah he is affected in some way, unless he is epileptic and was having some sort of mild absence seizure. Very unlikely though. My assessment is that he was doped out but also slightly euphoric - he was holding back a smile a few times there. Maybe valium? Slow, almost laboured speech, slow eye blink including screw up eyes while blinking, difficulty linking ideas. Good comprehension but slow slow slow. Despite being a fan of wikileaks, this guy might be a victim in all this too.

  • slooooow blink.....

  • WTF!!! This Lamo guy is a trip! Maybe he is...

    a) The sole surviving MK ULTRA experimentee.

    b) A frequent weekend guest of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston.

    c) Siphoning Courtney Love's stash.

    d) The secret love child of Judy Garland and Jessica Savitch.

    e) a real zombie.

    f) On Thorazine like their is no tomorrow.

    g) The reason for the US's Oxycontin shortage.

  • lol. I'd be munching valium like skittles if I were him too.

  • Dude, get off whatever the fuck it is you are abusing. wtf!? what a fucking waste case Lamo is! With trolls like Lamo on board Wikileaks has NOTHING to worry about lol.

  • Does Lamo have a speech impairment? Does he have a mental impairment? Is he on drugs? The guy comes off as very strange . . . . . . . to say the least.

  • How about that suave, semiconscious Mr Lamo?

    what. the. fuck.

  • Lamo pretty much shows the intelligence and state of mind of those who support war and secrecy.

  • Is Lamo just stoned out of his mind or what?

  • It's like he's on some hypnotic drug and it also seems he has some sort of mic in his ear telling him what to say just like a puppet. This guy would probably sell his own mother.

  • On what kind of "medication" is Mr. Lamo during this interview? Someone please elaborate.

  • @fiedel he used to take some behaviour modifying stuff for anxiety and anger - and also an irregular heart beat. He also has a form of asperger's as was discovered during his nine-day forced-institutionalisation. So not really his fault. He *is* a total shite though, used to use a stun gun on his girlfriend to keep her under control, the man's a bastard through-and-through.

  • LOL ... Lame-o... That guy is like the antithesis to the moral voice of the public and born leader that is Julian Assange. Typical rat snich turd fecal matter.

  • This Lamo must have been brainwashed and maybe also on drugs in this interview...

  • Comment removed

  • Adrian Lumo seems bombed out of his brains...how can you have a sensible conversation on that basis...........Mike

  • Comment removed

  • This guy Lamo gives a bad name to hacking.

  • FUCK YOU LAMO

  • Lamo is on crack. He also needs to visit a dentist and a speech therapist.

  • Adrian Lamo is a dishonorable snitch, and an attention whore. There's nothing more to be said about it.

  • @t0kt0k I agree. Wierd person.

  • @t0kt0k

You're a cunt. Somebody saw another man's idealism putting people in danger, and spoke up against it. And you vilify him? You don't deserve to live under the aegis that he and others provide.

  • @LightningNC

so...someone should have stepped in when Bush and Cheney were making a complete mess of things and stopped them before rivers of blood flowed.

  • @steveaksel

Yes, someone should've. I've no doubt many people tried. But it's too late for that now.

  • @LightningNC

Yes someone tried, his name was Joe Wilson and the real traitors to America outed his wife to the media to discredit him. I am sure you called him a traitor at the time too.

We should see the truth of what the pentagon is doing in our name. why are you scared of the truth?

  • @steveaksel

I know all about Joe Wilson and his wife, CIA agent Valerie Plame. That should've been grounds for the impeachment of Bush and his pals, but we've grown too complacent and lazy as a society to ever take any bold action. I find it rather tellind that you assumed I would've thought of him as a traitor.

  • @LightningNC

Yea only if Cheney was caught getting a blowjob from Jeff Gannon then we would have got some action.

  • @steveaksel

I'm not scared of the truth. I'm scared of what happens when average citizens who can't be bothered to read the entirety of the articles make stupid assumptions based on incomplete data they heard from the headlines of some shitty news organization who didn't read them completely either, not that the articles even give a complete picture. I'm scared of what the government could be pressured into doing by people who don't understand that nothing is ever as simple as it seems.

  • @LightningNC

That is why Wikileaks released the document to three news outlets. Only the liberal NYT went to the white house first to ask "permission" to print. And that Loma wanker turned in manning for releasing the Iraq footage get's a hero's welcome from the "liberal" media. the pentagon wants to keep it simple and in endless war. the US will never subdue Afghanistan the Taliban will never quit. Time to GO Home. the leaks make that obvious

  • @t0kt0k

Glenn Greenwald said he had never seen someone behave like this on TV before. Really Glenn? This is the first time you've seen someone who clearly has no idea what he's talking about appear on TV?

  • He ratted to save his own ass; go to h t t p w w w aolnews.com/nation/article/wikileaks-snitch-hacker-faces-wrath-of-his-peers/19562042

  • i know some one have blood on there hand the American government who kill those Afghan civilian bay the way Mr. mike give very nice speech

  • Watch @3:35. LOL "but... >.< uhhhhhh... durrrrrrrrr..."

This guy's high on so many things...

  • "Lamo actually is seizure-prone, ever since he overdosed on prescription amphetamines back in 2001. Now, he explains, he sticks to depressives and dissociatives."

"The dissociatives are amazing . . . You can look at your face in the mirror and completely not recognize it." -- Adrian Lamo, 2004

    Source:

'The Homeless Hacker v. The New York Times', Jennifer Kahn, Wired, 2004

  • The use of "colluding" by Lamo to describe US informants/collaborators is a great Freudian slip.

  • He used to didn't talk like that. He had a mental breakdown I heard, and is on psychotropic medication now. Explains the zombie ness I guess.

  • @skullaria Uh, no. He admitted to prescription drug abuse, specifically Xanax. In his own words: "substances that disassociate you from your senses have played a big part in my life"

Just Google it: "Adrian Lamo Xanax"

  • Adrian Lamo is an admitted drug abuser.

In 2003, he overdosed on amphetamines. His facial tics you see that make him look like he's winking are due to brain damage as a result of the overdose.

In his own words: "substances that disassociate you from your senses have played a big part in my life"

  • This is the same Adrian Lamo who got a reduced sentence for cooperating with the Feds.He has 0 credibility. I would not be one bit surprised if it was revealed he had spent the previous night being prepped for this interview by Feds. Conveniently, just weeks before the Wikileaks' reveal, media started publishing Adrian Lamo stories proporting that his reduced sentence was in fact for his "Aspergers Syndrome".

  • soo stonned. hahahahaha

  • @josh22922

    I didin't know he had Aspergers Syndrome....if thats why he's speaking slow...then I'm sorry.

  • @josh22922 No, it's not Asperger's Syndrome. His slurred speech is due to his drug abuse.

    Google "Adrian Lamo Xanax"

  • that guy looked a bit brainwashed.

  • Who is this Adrian guy? Does he work for the NSA or CIA? He looks like he's had a lobotomy.

  • @aaronjowns Not a lobotomy. He actually has brain damage from an overdose on amphetamines in 2003. Adrian Lamo is a drug addict.

  • @bedouinali That makes him an even less credible source. Thanks for the information. It's awesome people are seeing through the white wash.

  • @liarpoliticians "soldiers do not get the opportunity to chose to fight or not"

I'd have to take issue with this, soldiers have the opportunity to choose whether to join the military or not. There is no conscription going on and anyone who joined in the last 8 or so years should have been well aware they might be sent to Afghanistan or Iraq.

  • ill have w/e that guys having.

  • 3;40.. Tripping balls much, how fucking stoned is this guy!

  • @loveEUROPEhateEU holy shit, its like he just took dangerous levels of heroin before he came on to be interviewed! lol

  • @loveEUROPEhateEU

He's not stoned. The affect is likely a product of Aspergers.

  • @bitterbug That's not what Aspergers (or other Autism-spectrum disorders) looks like. He's medicated.

  • @ChurchHatesTucker

Except that he DOES have Aspergers. And the affect (as in physical manifestation) can be different for different people. It's a possibility.

Whereas stating "He's medicated." as a fact without any evidence to back it up then becomes a lesser possibility.

  • @bitterbug I'm not convinced he actually has Aspergers, but you're right in that there's at least passing evidence he does. (I'm going by my own experience in dealing with MR/DD adults.)

Somehow, he's off. Either he's on the wrong meds, or is an exceptional case, or whathaveyou. He hasn't gotten proper treatment either way you look at it.

  • Most government secrecy is designed to cover up their own misdeeds.

  • There are areas where government should be more open and areas where they shouldn't. Should democratic governments share all intelligence information and operational details with the enemy? International Islamic terrorism is a fact, it's also a fact that some countries would love to see Western countries destroyed or taken over by a totally unaccountable forms of government. To think there shouldn't be secrets is suicide. It might not be an ideal situation but we don't live in an ideal world.

  • That lady is the person who forced MP's expenses out into the open with a marathon of court cases that helped change the face of politics in the UK.

If it wasn't for that lady we may still have an arrogant, ignorant and intrusive government and have Michael Martian as Speaker of the House!

  • @dexxs Yes but they're not talking about MP's expenses.

  • @WinstonSmith46 But why for example is the level of civilian casualties being covered up? Is that really a state secret?

  • @liarpoliticians When a civilian takes up arms against a soldier they are an irregular armed combatant under int'l law and feign civilian status in war. If civilians attack US soldiers, they aren't counted as civilian deaths by the US, they are combatant deaths just like normal enemy soldiers. However the other side may still qualify them as civilians if they regard the US as having invaded and the civilians as having resorted to self-defence. It is, in essence, a difference in perspective.

  • @TheInternetMurderer - that's a salient point. I think that the vast majority of the deaths we are talking about are true collateral damage however - actual civilians who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  • @liarpoliticians

It's kept secret to keep all of the stupid, uninquisitive, irrational people from braying for the immediate withdrawl of our fources; people who don't realize that the Taliban purposely sets up camp in the middle of villages teeming with women and children, and that they set up gun emplacements upon hospitals and other occupied buildings, and that they use civilians as human shields.

  • Man that Hacker seems like a bit retarded or possibly he has just not slept in a few weeks.

  • @catothethird I don't think you would sleep much either with the ammount of death threats this guy has seen.

  • @catothethird He's a drug addict. That's why he talks like that -- brain damage from an overdose on amphetamines in 2003. His favorite drug now is Xanax. Google "Adrian Lamo Xanax".
