@TheBluethunder3320 Its a small peerless/ tecumseh vertical shaft tranny. you can find them on most rear engined ride on mowers and some zero turns. The output is a chain that you can go to a differential or straight kart axle. But if you go with a vertical shaft engine you can use almost any lawn tractor transaxle and if you use an 8 horse you can gear it up to go much faster. Iv since put a 6.5hp briggs in the jeep cart and its much better than the old worn out tec i had in it

No it really wouldnt, i switched the pullies on mine and the original motor was a 6hp turfmaster 6 and i dropped to a briggs 3.5hp and it still had massive torque and went about 20 ish in 3rd gear
