I usually just use shatter once i'm about to kill the creeps for my jungle taric.. you take much less damage that way by keeping its passive up.

Besides, if you actually use your health potions correct you won't need the extra survivability. Stonewall didn't use his potions 100 % correct.

4:20 time.. i thought he'd be faster than that, there has to be a better way to jungle taric than this.

Looking at his mana bar when he's attacking blue... it fills up as fast as he can spend it. I don't think he needs blue buff at all because of his passive. Wraiths --> red --> doubles --> wraiths --> wolves --> blue would be a faster level 4 route IMO.

FYI: I just went ahead and tried the wraiths --> red --> golems --> wraiths --> wolves --> blue route in a custom, works a lot better than this route. finished in 4;04. Also you can optionally gank at level 2 after red, then head to doubles without slowing yourself down significantly.

I also think the armor pen quints are a waste because his W reduces their armor, so you wouldn't need any armor pen to do max damage to many of the mobs. Full attack speed runes probably best for taric.

Always think a 9/21/0 build would of been an optimal choice for Taric as it does the ganks better...

Grabbing 2 points in "Butcher" and only need 2 AD from the Tier 1 of Offensive Tree, and grabbing both maxed "Initiator" and "Enlightenment", skipping out "Honor Guard" from the Defensive Tree...

@MegaKoxs yes he can. Boots are much better than armor since you can clear jungle a bit faster and ganks are much more effective. I pick boots and use 9/21/0 masteries. Runes for me are

red att speed

yellow armor

blue magic res

quit att speed

after clearing jungle you're lvl 4, gank then, go back and buy lvl 2 boots (merc threads or berserkers) this build worked for me twice with final score 7/3/22 as tanky support and 9/6/26 as att speed tank

He cant build into anything since you have to get wriggle or else you would fall behind so his build will get messed up, he is slow in jungle bad late game which support taric also has. Forced to use runes and masteries which he cant use. Sion on other hand can be built into AD sion (which isnt as good as AP) which is good ganks and good in team fights and can run masteries and runes and build which he wants to. he is a bit slow though

@Guudni Well that's funny, because I tried it too, and I thought Taric was great in the jungle. His ganks are really strong, he jungles at moderate speed, but he brings back the support jungle role which kinda died since Nunu isn't as good as before. I'd definitely jungle Taric in my ranked games (once I practice him a bit more).
