in a some video or this tubenet, i remember have seen a song that all pestilence members exchange instruments, foddis on guitar, mameli on drums, uterwijk on bass and van drunen on guitar, if im wrong, correct me!
yes, me too, i pretty much have to say that the spirit in the music and performance of death was Schuldiner. He was also the one who gave form to death metal, pretty much.
anyway, this vid is a piece of art. lol, did anyone notice how the drummer almost forgot there was kind of a break before the second riff?
This was Martin Van Drunen's last performance with Pestilence.
This song also features Louie Carisalez of Devastation on drums, Louie was the drum tech on the tour for both Marco Foddis of Pestilence, Bill Andrews of Death and Ken Owen of Carcass. Louie went on to singing for Death in europe from Oct. 25th to Dec. 21 of '90 along with Death/Pestilence/Carcass soundman Walter Trachsler playing guitar in place of Chuck.
holy shit. they mentioned Devastation which I remember my bro having their tape. I hope to come across their shit again. metal! 1990. damn long time ago. thanks for posting this.
hum ok, because Pestilence didn't tour with Sepultura and Sadus, I think you confusing these 2 tours. Sadus, Obituary & Sepultura. Pestilence toured with Death & Carcass.
