Well, Lewis turned down a recent offer from Stuart to do a tour which was a real shame, Nicky & Stuart keep in touch & moot the idea so don't give up hope. Nicky has also got the 7 Golden Dafodills vid which they made for a video juke box

but the format is too cumbersome to put on the net so hopefully he may transpose it onto another format where he can make a lot of people happy by putting it on u-tube.

Ah, that's a shame really, for us anyway and the Mojo fans, of course. Seems he's quite comfortable and happy the way he lives now and I really grant him that.

But it would be nice to see him somehow, whether on TV, stage or playing a Mojo gig ;)

Yeh, Patrick had a long run on tv as Danger Man, a British spy, a great pre-cursor/ aprentiship for the Bond role. He turned down the Bond offer because his deep religious believes re sanctity of life

conflicted with Bonds' casual 'indifference to life' Patrick thought a man should use his brain & power of talking to overcome conflict. You are spot on about Lewis, his Bodie character had the double rough smooth way about him & his pithy one liners were pure Bond. He was perfect for the part.

Cubby Brocolli missed out on 2 obvious actors perfect for Mr Bond , Patrick McGoohan & Lewis Collins, I worked with Lew on Who Dares Wins & found him to be a really nice guy, easy to talk with.

Lew def was the James Bond, who never was. It's such a shame, really. He would have deserved it.

What happened to Lewis Collins. I know he did some theatre acting and there was a rumour he was teaching computers lessons. He never appears on the screen anymore like Martin Shaw. WHO DARES WINS is a brilliant film that Lewis Collins was in. I think that film is called FINAL LAST CHANCE in the US or LAST FINAL CHANCE.

He might be a writer for all we know or teaching acting. A lot of actors quit acting and either take-up writing or music. I also remember him in a British comedy but I forgot the title. I honestly can't remember that comedy title. All I remember was Collins sitting at a meal table at times. I don't remember much of the comedy. THE PROFESSIONALS where he was Bodie as part of CI5 and WHO DARES WINS where he was part of SAS was his best work. THE PROFESSIONALS is my favourite series as well. I remember watching them on TV as a kid and I was proud to get them on DVD uncut. THE NEW PROFESSIONALS will never beat THE PROFESSIONALS.

Thanks for this video ! "The Professionals" is my absolute favorite TV series. I discovered it in Buenos Aires (where I born) in 1984, when I was re-orienting my TV antenna on the roof and (downstairs) checking the image quality on the TV screen... then suddenly I was amazed with an action scene of "The Madness of Mickey Hamilton"... and my antenna had to wait a little bit to see me again :) It was my beginnig with it. To this day if anybody ever asks me who my ideal man is I still say Lewis Collins! I fell in love with him aged 10 in 1978 when I first saw The Professionals! I even joined the LC fan club!

Ah it's lovely to still see him. I used to hope I'd bump into him (as I'm from Liverpool) but I never did... I'll have to take a trip to LA now suppose... Scary thing is, when I used to watch the Professionals in late 70s, I used to fancy Bodie something terrible and think, "I'm just a kid, far too young for him." I watch the Professionals now (and still thoroughly enjoy them)and realise, I'm now too old for Bodie. Now THAT'S depressing. Good work Sunshine. Love your stuff.
