just replacing the intake you wont feel any difference. but when you get a tune from either bama chips, breenspeed or what have you. THEN you will feel a difference
eventually i wanna s/c it and ill get duals. im kinda ignorant when it comes to complete exhaust systems. so does an X pipe make a different sound that an H? and what effect would headers have?
thanks, im going to put up some more vids soon. one more "rev" video cause i got a tune installed so the rev limiter has been removed and a 0-60 before and after install of 373 gears and tlok
i honestly dont know! lol i went to the shop and we decided on a flowmaster muffler. we didnt get into details. but i believe it's the 40 Series Delta Flow muffler
i got it installed with a custom tip for like $230. i got just a muffler it wasnt the axil back. they cut off the stock and welded this one on. they did that because they said the part on the flowmaster muffler that bolts on to the pipe would come loose after a while. (its 2:30 in the morn and im brain dead so dont get on me about what things are called, lol)
How do you like the bbk cai? can you feel the power? If you would do it all over again would you get the bbk or k and n intake?

thats my exact car haha, super 44 muffler with a bbk cold air intake, my mustang is silver with black stripes

did you lose any power with that intake with just the muffler or does it get the air enough to where u dont need to change the pipes?
texmarcjosh 2 years ago
actually with the cold air intake accompanied with a custom tune from bama chips or bren speed it will give you more power with the stock pipes

Sounds too ricey for me, see what cat-back dual exhaust systems go for on that model - they sound alot better.

A little raspy up top. You need duals with an H pipe.

@Bubba560 yes x pipe = bit more power but a bit more rasp to the sound.
h pipe = deep agressive sound usually round 2.5k-3k rpms that bout it and hoesntly it sound a bit better but x pipe makes it a bit louder

The ones sold online are black. Do you have a different model flowmaster model?
coldmv 3 years ago
i dont think so in the pic normally it says "this is a representation of product" or something like that. the black might be a older model
Bubba560 3 years ago
How much did you pay for it? Did you install it yourself? If not, how much did you pay to get it installed?
