What's the sickest about this track is the fact that not only is the message split in two, but it plays to individuals on each of those levels. Those that understand the depression refs see that angle, those that don't, still see the crazy ex viewpoint. That's talent...speakin' on levels inside of levels. Joey's sick w/ it.

@mellow412 But, he say's "Nigga's tried to tell me her head was insane" this part to me was his peers telling him that he was starting to act crazy and a whole lot diffrent which is when he first met the girl (depression). The he says, ""If it kills you, it's gonna kill me" which to me is saying that if he lets his depression overcome him he won't be himself anymore.

@boozaaa I believe so. I first heard this back in '09 and from what i got from it was that the girl is the metaphor of himself too. He compares her to himself a lot in the song which i have to say was quite creative by Joe. To sum it all up, the song remains in heavy rotation in my ipod!
