You know you need to hold in the clutch when your stationary unless your in neutral and when you take off you need to feather the clutch.

lol if learn to shift just spend time learning on the nurbergring you will become a better racer and you wont need so much bhp's because an auto box shifts way to early with a manual you an red line it and get an extra 5mph and the top end torque and the clutch has its uses as well coz if ur auto is say in 4th or 5th wen the revs drop of the torque u hardly move well if u use the clutch just hold it in till she nearly red lines and hold it and dump the clutch you will get back on the boost

Dude go to your contrller settings and swap the LB with the A button. its way easier to hit A ans B together with your thumb to up shift and the same with X and A for downshifts.

@marknzoe Yeah man thats the way I do shift too. Although I prefer X+A+RT for downshifting for a squirt of heel-toe. Its no use on race gearboxs but its good fun none the less. :)

but if you have simulation damage on, it will damage your transmission

How the fuck do you think moron? There's many ways for one to change gear. Solenoid, valve, VACUUM. Some of the NEWEST ones never change gear. Learn the fuck about the workings of a vehicle before trying to talk smack you dumb shit. SOME auto's do use a clutch, such as the EVO X. That uses a DUAL clutch automatic transmission.
