I totally agree with you. but the fact that he is a Muslim and that they were afraid of the backlash scares me even more. Being politally correct can way to far. It's because of that one fact that this man was allowed to continue in his craziness
I think what finally put me over the edge is that these were peers, psychiatrists, medical professionals...not just beer buddies discussion how someone was a little "off". They, of all people, should have recognized the danger and ACTED on it! That's what angers me the most. That and sending a mediocre doc to treat our military for mental disorders.
Honestly, I've been watching to see when you would post a vid about this. I wish CNN would air it! Hasan is described as "mediocre, lazy, belligerent," etc, but his superiors put him in a position he should NOT have held. Now the media wants to highlight combat-related stress as if it only came into being a week ago, when the tragedy occurred. Great rant for speaking to our long-absent conscience!!!!! Just like physical illness, ignored mental/emotional problems lead to worse consequences.
For the major's behavior and action prior to the rampage- he should have been court martialed and imprisoned.
Secondly, I think they should start taking a look at his commanding officers and fire a few people.
But if they had kicked him out of the service we all know the end result. he would have gone on a rampage in a civilian setting and then everyone wouldl be screaming he did it because the service booted him for being Muslim.
In my opinion, it's all about the insane political correctness that everyone seems fixated on. Ooooh he's a Muslim, we can't say anything because it might be considered discrimination and politically incorrect. So we won't say anything.
Whatever the reason he did it. Was he a gihadist. Was he mentally unbalanced and just went postal. That's secondary. What really counts is that people saw this, predicted this, and did nothing to prevent it. Because it may have been politically incorrect.
The Military is trained to KILL people legally.
One has to be crazy to join the Military in the first place.

I don't necessarily agree with that assumption. We have some exceptional people in the military and we NEED them there. But I get your point.

You reject any sort of common sense with how I'm a "sheepie" and I need to 'wake the hell up" to the "NWO".
I knew it already.

I think you are a little off base here.

I never said they should have kicked him out of the service. I said they should NEVER have passed that problem on to Ft. Hood.

I do agree with you that it appears that "political correctness" played a part in this. It's tragic all round.
