@Tigexslayer you get Leiliana at the beginning of the game when you arrive at Lothering, just look for the tavern (East) and a fight will start between your party and she helping you, then asks you if she can join you. Wynne is aquired when arriving at the Circle of Magi, she is the old lady in a red dress, she says she will help you and remove the magic barrier. Hope it helps ;)

lol i did somthing complety differnet (in the elf forest i bought like 99 elfroot, and i bought 99 flasks at the campsite site, my main character was a warrior/Champ.
so i had him, Alistar and a male elf rouge (forgot name =_=) and Wynne at back casting magic. i had myself, Alistar and the rouge all in front. (and everyone was like lv 13 XD every died expect for me and wynne i used up like 40 health polituces XD!!!
Just beat her yesterday, seems ranged is the way to go, had my mage, Alistair, Leliana and Wynne. Al and Lel was taken out 20 seconds into the battle, I ressed Al only to have him die 10 seconds later, my mage downed potions while Wynne just took every fireball she threw at her. And of course, for all my massive magical blasts, it's Wynne that offs her with a common attack.
I fought her when I was still lvl 10/11, I forgot, I got PWNed immediately (tried 7 times). Then I came back with Shale, Alistair, Wynne, and myself (a mage-- Arcane Warrior n Spirit Healer) in lvl 18, I won almost without a scratch, only used 2 lyrium pots. :) Well, I WAS level 18, I know. I didn't do a thing than heal.

@souleater848 When you get to the mages tower, in one of the rooms, there's a special gremoire. If your relationship with Morrigan is high enough, and she mentioned it to you, you'll know about it, or you can find it on your own. Give it to her, and she'll be all "Omfg, my mom's famous book everybody stfu so i can study it!!". Eventually, she'll read a bit of info that she's not happy about, and again, if you're close enough to her, she'll ask you to "take care" of Flemeth.
Having seen Flemeth's role in Dragon Age II, I think it's obvious that she's the mastermind behind the whole story. Early on in DA2, Flemeth wonders whether it's chance or fate that keeps bringing her into the story. She herself realizes that she's a key player in this destiny. I look forward to her role in DA3: what's so mystifying is that I can never decide whether she'll be the main villain, or the story's hero. That's a testament to Bioware and its absolutely fantastic writing.

@jguitar151 That'd be awesome, but at the same time silly, because you'd have to do it in a big open area. There isn't much room for a dragon in the deep roads, for example. Unless she turns into a Drake, which would be odd since those are male dragons.
@CryOutZabimaru What a wonderful line. Flemeth is older than any of the legends or concepts described in DA:O or DA:II. She is the origin of everything, and will continue to be the driver of the DA story. What you write speaks volumes about her age and power: she begat all things, and continues to drive everyone's fate. In that sense, she is God.
@krono39 when your in the circle of mage and dealing with the abomination, you go to the first enchanter room and you'll find a book in a chest, give this book to morrigan like a gift and then your quest begins
When Morrigan said she wasn't human, maybe that meant that when Flemeth bonded with the soul of the Achdemon, Flemeth in a way became an Archdemon. Why Flemeth sent her only daughter out with the Wardens is probably because when Morrigan had the child with the grey warden, Flemeth was planning on taking over Morrigan and control the childs life as his mother and make him as powerful as he can become, then when she took over the child, Flemeth would have the power of TWO Archdemons.
Also i have a theory concerning Flemeth. I believe Flemeth knew how to do the ritual because she did it herself once. Maybe when in one of the Blights Flemeth "saved" a grey warden by getting a child in return. Then when the child was powerful enough, Flemeths soul took over the child and obtained the soul of the Archdemon, and I think thats why Flemeth is powerful enough to change to a High Dragon form, because she already is in possession of an Old Gods soul. Can be this be done without a Mage? I only have Morrigan. I don't have Wynne because we had a disagreement in the Circle Tower. One thing led to another and her head fell off... Or is there another mage I can hunt down?

Honestly.. PC looks way better. You can tell this game was made for PC because on my PS3 it lags and the camera is so jerky every time I move it. Crazy lag.. Geez! I hope they can fix the issue with Dragon Age 2.

I took Flemeth down again, this time using Human Warrior PC, Alistair, Dog, and Wynne. Alistair went down too quickly in the battle, but Dog kept attacking the old smoker head-on while Human Warrior and Wynne provided cover fire and healing. It was a bloodless defeat, but Flemeth still went down.
gameplay is weird.. almost turn base but isn't.. this game should just be all realtime fast pace gameplay... OR at least no pause when selecting skill/spells
2 mages with force shield is all you need to easily defeat any dragon :D

@krono39 when your in the circle of mage and dealing with the abomination, you go to the first enchanter room and you'll find a book in a chest, give this book to morrigan like a gift and then your quest begins

When Morrigan said she wasn't human, maybe that meant that when Flemeth bonded with the soul of the Achdemon, Flemeth in a way became an Archdemon. Why Flemeth sent her only daughter out with the Wardens is probably because when Morrigan had the child with the grey warden, Flemeth was planning on taking over Morrigan and control the childs life as his mother and make him as powerful as he can become, then when she took over the child, Flemeth would have the power of TWO Archdemons.

Also i have a theory concerning Flemeth. I believe Flemeth knew how to do the ritual because she did it herself once. Maybe when in one of the Blights Flemeth "saved" a grey warden by getting a child in return. Then when the child was powerful enough, Flemeths soul took over the child and obtained the soul of the Archdemon, and I think thats why Flemeth is powerful enough to change to a High Dragon form, because she already is in possession of an Old Gods soul. Can be this be done without a Mage? I only have Morrigan. I don't have Wynne because we had a disagreement in the Circle Tower. One thing led to another and her head fell off... Or is there another mage I can hunt down?

Honestly.. PC looks way better. You can tell this game was made for PC because on my PS3 it lags and the camera is so jerky every time I move it. Crazy lag.. Geez! I hope they can fix the issue with Dragon Age 2.

alistar had +10% dragon damage sword(2handed) and dragon plate armor+random heavy helm
main guy(tank couldn't wear dragon plate yet) drake armor+ some random heavy helm
backstabber(zevran) with drake armor + 10 nature resisrance helm
healer wynn with standard robe/staff and apprentince helm
all lvl 15 and it was not that hard

I took Flemeth down again, this time using Human Warrior PC, Alistair, Dog, and Wynne. Alistair went down too quickly in the battle, but Dog kept attacking the old smoker head-on while Human Warrior and Wynne provided cover fire and healing. It was a bloodless defeat, but Flemeth still went down.

gameplay is weird.. almost turn base but isn't.. this game should just be all realtime fast pace gameplay... OR at least no pause when selecting skill/spells
