Dude... U had so many chances to ultra on his jump ins. I'm no rose player but I know that every time somebody tries to jump in, in mid air you can do your ultra and catch him once he hits the ground.

when you link a throw from a normal hit. you generally do it coz it gives your throw a little more range

I wouldn't say so; Rose has an anti-air Soul Throw, which this guy didn't use. Maybe there is a disadvantage I don't know about.

Soul throw is bad. You can't just do it when they jump in.. you have to predict their jumps to use it correctly. Which doesn't make it a good anti-air.

Couple things:

Rose's EX attacks aren't that great.. except for a EX SoulSpark here and there. Better off saving for a Super which is great and easy to combo into.

I know Saqs knows but Rose's ultra is pimp and easy to land as well. As Strider pointed out.. you could have landed it a couple times on the jump ins.

Good Rose though. Enjoy.
