Saudi Arabia was formed in the name of Islam and IT WILL STAY THAT WAY.
In short if the "Saudis" in the big cities (who are mostly economic immigrants) dont like Islam they can easily move to the West. There are enough and more intelligent and educated Muslims who are willing to sacrifice everything to move to an Islamic state.
I am sure the real Saudis (who helped the Ibn Sauds and Shiekh Ibn Abdul Wahab to re-establish the Islamic state) want to stay within the bounds of Islam.
I am not saudi but just by paper! Iam 100 per cent french! Driving for women in france is as insignifiant as brushing our teeths every days! Insignifiant but so necessary! I am an American living in Saudi Arabia. I have "westernized views". However, what I don't see anyone taking into account here is the idea that cultures (all cultures) have their negatives, their positives and their neutral attributes. That alone is the argument here. I will agree that the "west" may as well have many negative attributes, but right now . . . at this time, the only thing on the table is ONE thing. Women should be held with equal dignity and be allowed equal rights . . .

i honestly read all of the comments and saw the video. first of all i wanna tell saja and everyone in this video great job u guys showed a really good example of educated saudi people no matter what people think whether u are 100% saudi or not. second of all i wanna say that allowing women to drive is something that must have been done long time ago and it has nothing to with western influence i personally encourage such a positive step good job.
