  • May I recommend the book 'A Pop Revolution, the transatlantic music scene 1965 to 1969' by the invisible man. The author is a big fan of this instrumental.

  • And I believe the outtake footage for "2001" was left over from Icelandic aerial footage Kubrick had shot for "Dr. Strangelove." Personal suspicion---no facts to uphold it.

  • "...where the eyes of men have never set foot." JWL.

  • roy west

  • Ahhh! but if you look to your right! you'll most surly see that landscape scene from 2001

  • Take a look at 2001: A Space Odyssey which came out the next year and Kubrick used a very similar artistic approach to the space scenes at the end of the movie when Dave the astronaut was going thru his "trip" (scenes flying over glaciers and such)

  • @FlamingoKicker U're wrong, those sequences here are unused footage from the end of 2001.

  • LA LAA LAA LAAAA LA LA LA LAH LAHH LA LA LA LA LA.

  • this is prob the illest thing ive ever heard

  • Agggh..the green and the blue

  • So basiclly this is the unused footage for 2001?
