For 1394 Error, I found out that all other videos out there are useless, it was an apple address issue that everyone is using. use this in the host file 17.112.176.11 gs_apple_com replace UndScr with dots.

I've jailbroken with redsn0w before and I know how to do it, it's just that whenever I confirm the ipsw, i get an unexpected error pressing next. I know on the pc, you have to change the compatibility mode, but is there something I need to do on the mac that you know? Thanks in advance.
