its not a DISEASE its a mental illness, and not eating is not the illness, its the symptom, the illness, is the way the person feels about themseleves, people with eating disorders look at themselves, and dont see what others see, its not cause they are stupid..or just self consious...THEY ACTUALY DONT SEE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SEE...like an illusion.

@lolintosh it's a mental disorder/disease/illness however you want to call it. the thing is that it's not physical and yes, not eating is one of the symptoms but you get thin when you've already been anorexic for a considerable amount of time.
