  • que pasa con la lluvia no le entra a los motores el agua?

  • Excellent and clever design. Many thanks for sharing.

  • i got that t shirt but in white lol

  • doesnt look hard to make just take an old working alternator, make a bracket to mount it and an old proppeller of some sort

  • where is a good place to buy chair, wallmart,i like it ,and hope to build one soon, thanks

  • did you know that that scam windenergyguide user stole your video and is using it? search their name

  • the wires tangling around inside the tower... you can live with that until some downtime?

  • How do you keep the wires from getting tangled around the mast as the generator changes directions?

  • great video, thats a great idea with the chair.

  • hi i love the way you make youre wind turbines they look 100% engineered to last long! on ,y wind turbine i made a slotting for my tail to ! cheers

  • Using a chair swivel is a very nice idea

  • wherd u get ths

at motor?and how much power u get out of it? u recomend any motors other than treadmill ones??

  • how do u stop the wires from snapping off when it keeps changing direction with the wind? coz the wires start to wind around it till it tightens, then snaps :-S

    help pls,

  • @binashraf use a coaxial connector that can spin infinitely, or cheesy stops and hope the verticle stab works well

  • @roofy2k

Or... you can use a phone jack..RCA the bigger jacks..they make a good

alternative to "slip" rings...with a little lube, it can last for years..

    and cheap to replace...

  • Nice job about the chair. Im in usa. Howmuch watts do you get out of it?

  • Nice idea about the old chair... good job.

  • is it possible to use the alternator, from a car........?

  • generally no. They require too high a RPM to produce power, you then have to potentially gear them up which has inefficiencies and even add magnets to the rotor etc. a DC treadmill motor is problably a better choice etc.

  • is this a good motor anybody 3000rpm and got about 50 volts with no load

  • hi i am trying to make a wind turbine for the first time and i cant find a treadmill motor any where and i was wondering if you have anything you could sell for £20 sorry dont have mutch money

  • nice, now go vertical since u r in urban area vertical blades preform well with variable direction winds.also u can loose the tail and the swivel parts and not chop ur kids head of with a prop!:)

  • How did you connect the hub with the ametek. What is that connector called.

  • Very inspiring. Good work.

  • cool

  • any way you can run the wires in the center shaft so it can rotate freely

  • Good Stuff! Hope that little guy can generate enough energy to charge your batteries. I too have a motor similar to yours (but not up yet). I bet your wife hates when you tear apart the house furniture for these little projects! (LOL)...

  • Excellent Sunday evening viewing.Always get the best videos on your yourube with great descriptions.
