It's not as bad as the hype might make it seem.

It's a horror fanfic based on Pinkie's 'psycho' persona, lots of over the top violence and gore, probably based on stuff like Saw and other 'gore-no'

Personally I found it more funny than scary, it's adequately written but not especially good and feels like it's trying too hard.

Interestingly, Pinkie is surprisingly in-character and the amount of canon information imply the writer might be a brony or at least is acquainted with the show.
