  • This song is SO 80s,no wonder it reminds everyone of Donnie Darko

  • maybe donnie, went into the future told the band members of m83 to make a song that would fit his movie very well. who knows.

  • well wasn't this song in the movie...its the first scene at the school, where all the characters and teachers are first shown.

  • in the official music video the girls in yellow who were roller skating actually reminded me of sparkle motion. then i saw this video as another result haha.

  • I love this video more than their official video. Awesome

  • doesnt work with this film at all great tune though i fookin love the film

  • U are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY off its perfect for the film..

  • yeah ur right.i dont know what i was thnking when i wrote that

  • that's so weird, i was thinking this song would totally go with this movie. in the beginning sequence though, when he cycles back into town...

    yeah.

  • A perfect combo to a great song...the rollerskating girls was like a panty liner advert!! Donnie Darko ...much cooler!!

  • i like. a lot. thanks for posting.

  • stop with the dissolves allready

  • Good song to go with donnie darko. BUT you really really need to learn a less annoying transition. Maybe a direct cut once in a while instead of the slow transition that Imax films always overuse.

  • I guess it doesn't matter, but the song is supposed to be about 2 girls according to Anthony.

  • I love M83, and Donnie Darko. Perfection.

Also, I love the butter team and their emails.

    I love this.

  • Yeah this DOES work really well with Donnie Darko.

  • @afterglow80

Yes it does, since Donny Darko was set in the late 1980s

  • A perfect match. Love the new album, especially this song as well as Donnie Darko!

  • Wheres the rest of it!!! it cant finnishe there!

  • i like this song, something in the album reminded me a lot of donnie darko as well, on track 10 "dark moves of love" you can hear that voice in donnie darko saying "time is running out" check it out

  • NPR is playing the hell out of this song lately and I ADORE it. Also a Darko fan. Great pairing.

  • Great song. Great movie. Great fit for the video. This song does have an 80s feel to it.

  • From the second this song starts, it's "Oh my God EIGHTIES!" But it's so good anyway.

  • I'm addicted to this song and Donnie Darko has always been a favorite. But I don't see them pairing up exactly. Maybe because the song just sounds more upbeat. The lyrics are almost spot on though ... "somebody lurks in the shadows..."

  • love this song.

  • i´m fan of this movie

  • I'm not a big fan of this movie, but the track sure is uplifting, lively, colorful, warm, ya know, your token awesome M83 tune. I'm glad this one is nothing like the ghastly Couleurs.
