It's kind of cool that this version of the game has a spoken narration, but it would've also been cool if they made an honest-to-gosh anime video cutscene for the intro instead of the same sprite thing they did for Turbografx(not to complain about the Turbografx version). With the Sega CD, I think that would've been possible...
I guess the fact that we (Turbo Fans) got it over 2 years before the Sega CD version came out, could be a reason as to why we favor this one. They are both Awesome games, BUT I would prefer the Original (THE TURBO VERSION)
It does interest me to see how desperate Turbo fans are to claim this one. They're both the exact same game, The Sega CD just has fewer colors and more voice. Big freakin' deal. Hell, the changes in visuals are only there if you're being rediculously nitpicky, so let it go, fellas.
@Freakservo you know I might be an ardent turbo duo fan but while the duo may have more colors ( and an opening that lets you hear ALL of the music) I still kinda favor the sega cd /mega cd version for the sheer sound mix .( it's a cleaner crisper sound and EVERY song is polished to INSANITY ! )
My solution? : play the turbo version , put the mega cd version on an ipod ( for the sheer sake of KICK-ASS music.)
iv never heard of this game b4, but this intro makes me want to kick some garuda ass!!!

The SEGA CD music sounds so much better than the Turbo CD.

The guy doing the introduction is also the voice of Raoh from the Streamline Pictures dub of the 1986 Fist of the North Star movie.

And I have a working SCD emulator. Maybe I should look up the ISO. Is it fun?

This is cheaper and equally fun. Soundtrack quality is a matter of taste.
