Informative review, although I agree with some of the posted criticisms (it lacks the panache of a Top Gear road test).

Sorry to brag, my wife & I just bought a pre-owned (low mileage) 2008 RS4 in black with the "titanium package". As well as looking properly sinister, it really is a thrill to drive. We chose it over a 997 911S because of its practicality and overall performance. Don't get me wrong, we certainly love the classic 911 too!

I never thought about it before until watching Top Gear and 5th Gear and then this show. But you are right. I think they try to approach this show as a bit of Consumer Reports on TV kinda thing. Jeremy, Tiff and their crews are trying to be a bit more laid back, but in your face in their approach adn it does seem to be more entertaining why this show offers more accurate figures....
