Phenomenal Remix !!!- best sci fi up beat songs I have ever heard. It had to be Life Force. Not fair for no sequels. I don't know how come Gradius get's more attention from Konami than this winner.

stage 3 and stage 5 had some of the best music i'd ever heard in my existence. The music of this game completely made it worth playing.. over and over again (it gets really hard after few times through)

If you can keep your weapons (laser, 2 options, missiles) for a long time you can almost relax because it's easy. BUT if you get complacent and suddenly die, that's when it's challenging, starting over with no speed or extra firepower. It's especially a pain in stage 3 when you need speed to dodge the flares.

nice music remix! i remember playing this game in 1988 in the 6th grade after school at a friends house. i couldn't get the 30 lives (or was it 10 lives?) code to work because i was doing it while the game was paused instead of at the title screen

Reminds me of the arcade version's music, which  is better than the NES version's; everyone should definitely check it out if they aren't familiar.
