I'm wondering how I can make something suddenly stop using Redrum (or another method?).. for example I use Redrum in order to play a bass note from a guitar (which is distorted, and drags out for a few seconds) - is there a way to abruptly end the audio?
QLashay thank you so So So very much! I've always wanted to use the korg but couldn't figure it out. Thank you so much for your time in making this tutorial you so made my day!
I'm not a troll, just try to learn how to use reason, why to do this ? isn't that more simple to directly use redrum ? more simple ok if I'm right ? but is it better to do that for some purpose, please give some explanations. thanks a lot.
@OddAntSounds I use this method a lot... always have. I especially use it to layer my drums to get a fuller fatter sound on the kick drum and then add a little eq and compression to it as well.
I love this program! I tired to use this program & i made way to much noise my mom came in my room and clocked me over the head with my midi controller :(
Once you created your sequence in Redrum, how do you get it to record down bottom when you arm it? When I press record, nothing is recorded, it's just blank.
@Dam121594 Ok so after you make your drum sequence right click and scroll down to copy pattern to track.Your pattern should then show up in the main screen of the sequencer and could be further edited in the edit window.
@HowManyHats the benefit is that you can sequence your drums using different patterns in the redrum as opposed to live recording them with Kong.It just depends on the work flow you like to use.
