We were not aware that the handyman was sleeping in the basement, and he scared the CRAP out of us when he came in out of that doorway we'd never opened. Plus his name is Bela (but not Lugosi).
As an undergrad I watched Metropolis at the State Theater in NJ. There was no musical score. It was actually very hard to watch, and we sort of did a lame version of MST3K (which was really rude to do anyway). Sound is an integral part of film.
Mate i love you!! lmao....im only 20, but can is the best band ive heard (in my opinion....but radiohead not far back) and nosferatu is a classic! i love this so thankyou for posting it!!! take care mate peeace x
I know people are going to blast me for this, but I really like the fact that the music was changed to a more modern score. Yes people will say the integry of the movie was tarnished, but lets face it, not many young people watch silent movies, so if you can draw them in with great music more power to ya. Love the music choice. Great movie.
