ugh, i have a 1g with stock turbo & injectors, and a walbro 255 fuel pump, and i can't run nearly that much boost without it knocking and having fuel delivery issues... on 93 octane too!
all i do is load the drivetrain so you dont shock it when you release the clutch and slip the clutch slow and once your rollin slip it fast almost like dumping your clutch.i only launch at 5k and once i start rollin im wot. and keep your tire pressure up if you dont wanna break stuff either haha or just dont launch it that works too haha i think all us dsm'ers break a tranny here and there
@25psitsitalon well,, thats nice, thats exactly how i'm launching it, but my clutch is slipping so maybe once i replace that with a street disc act 2600 that should be able to shoot me off the line with a bit of roll before slipping the clutch all the way out, you and i have the same technique hahah
nice i never had i tranny problem till i upgraded my clutch to a competion clutch stage 4 ceramic like it was easy to drive with but once it warms up it grabs super hard and one launch too hard and destroyed my center diff on my 97. my 92 runs the act 2600 works great just a bit more violent all the time taking off
@flamingaxe791 10 gauge power wire to the pump directly youll get a bit more out of it and only a 14b so really not flowing too much air with that lil snail to max out the pump haha
