This version is definately better than the US one. Purely because their games are differently played. They are shorter to allow more of them. And of course, Ryan and Colin are new, so they had a 'fresh' mind, where as in the US version, they are used to it, therefore dont find it as fun.
@pppppcrehan You can't be serious? The American audience just laugh at everything - they treat every single comment or quip as piss-pants funny. It totally dilutes the whole thing, and the good jokes get lost. Plus, the performers seem to play down to it too by simply shouting louder in order to get laughs. At least in the UK version the audience doesn't overreact. UK version is more sincere. And it has more of Josie Lawrence, who is class.
@ErnieandBert1 "that incredible torch song" - a torch song is essentially an emotional romantic ballad, often (I think) about lost or unrequited love. I think it has something to do with the expression "carrying the torch" for someone - ie you're in love with them.
(forgive the long explanation if you already know what a torch song is and you just couldn't hear what Colin said.)
When Steve started to appear on this show, I thought he was a little out of place, but he has improved a lot, so now I really looking forward to an episode with him in it.
I am american. the US version is american-ized. it sucks. UK version ftw

@ADeadHeaDz ermm the British one came first... And its because of the years. The British one is in the 90's so of course they dress differently.
