Yo brah, I live in this gen....not a stoner from the 60's, the GD played til '95. I like your comment because I agree....Scarlet is an amazing jam, and NOOONE else covers it (that I know of). For real, to even know the song you gotta love live GD, so these guys def. went to shows (its a tune that heads LOVE, also totally obscure unless seen live). I'm psyched to see this song loved...both versions. Sublime had heavy GD influence. 60's stoner stereotype lame though.

LOL!!!! You def. never saw a live GD live show. Hehehe....why do ya think they play this tune? Cuz the GD rock it, Sublime 'got' the GD and how freaking kick ass this tune is, you should actually listen to the real deal. The words are different, so are the jams, not the same tune really, there is NO comparison....this is a tribute to Scarlet Begonias. The fact that they play it at all is mind blowing, total props. Still, its like comparing a Cessna with a launched rocket. No offense, LMFAO
