Jon Foreman's dad is a pastor , at Calvary Encinitas, and there music is influenced through scripture , they don't subscribe to the scene , But are Strong adherents to their faith , and In San Diego they do alot of christian shows & benefits , Jon Foremans solo music is much more Faith based

well yea they are, but its not exactly like they write about God all the time. They might even be considered more like Christians in a band. They write about things in their lives, which God is a big part of, so yes and no.

The song "New Way To Human" from 1of their earlier cds that was a song about God, & in their song "Free" they say "come set me, down on my knees I still believe you can save me from me" Another line in the song "there's a hole in my heart but my hope is not all in me" Their music's focused on their struggles in faith & spiritual things, they may be talkin about life but if theyre talkin about faith struggles thats about trying 2 live 4 Christ & thats a big part of Christian life
