Traditionally both these urges were dicouraged, by the social stigma on divorce, and by alimony in fault-based divorce. Now the stigma is removed, no-fault divorce enabled, alimony and child support higher (women get custody 90%) than ever. I blame feminism.
I don't care of women want nothing to do with men and hate our guts. Hypergamy is completely natural for women, in a state of nature. Hypergamy refers to women gravitating only to men with considerably higher sexual market value, wealth, social status, and power. Not necessarily just income. What's fucked up is that hypergamy is able to coincide with a government that empowers females and shit like "pay equity acts". Feminism was about allowing women to mate hypergamously, but simultaneously making it harder for a man to actually HAVE that higher status required.
The high value man (social status) only wants the high value woman (attractive and young). If a woman is ugly and desperate enough, she will have to settle for the lower status man or be alone for the rest of her life. I learned the reality at an early age that I was never going to attract an Alpha Male.
I guess that's also worth noting. A man's sexual market value is largely variable, there's lots of things he can do to improve it. A women's value is unfortunately mostly fixed. Beyond cosmetic upkeep or surgery, there's not much she can do to raise her value, which is unfair to women, but not really something that will ever improve. A woman is, however, much more likely to be upward seeking and less tolerant of unfavorable disparity between her perceived value of her and her partner.
I did. And she was the worse relationship that I ever had..and she was a Black American woman on top of that.
I was making 70K annually..she was making 120K..I thought the shit was going to work out..but she always thought I was cheating on her with my PUerto Rican friends (we never fucked although we kissed months after the Black woman and I broke up).

everyone needs and want money and my question to you is: would you live with a poor hot girl eating store band foods, shopping at good will and living from pay check to check OR be with an ugly girl who makes 100 grand a year?
and we both what you would pick, so why bitch about hypergamy with women when you have the same problem as a man?

@FREEAMERICANOW69 , that is exactly the problem though, I don't blame women, I blame the gold digging teachings of society. People don't know what true unconditional love is anymore. Many people only want financial security, and that is an alarming warning. Our society needs to stop being superficial, and stop clinging to false securities, like money.

Money may be a false security, yet it does not secure a happy marriage.
Love does not pay the bills,yet the issue I have brought up, is about your question on whether someone would choose a woman in a low income or high income.Are you telling me only people with high incomes pay their bills?Its a warning that are society is superficial and has no moral code and are sheep to money.

If feminism is really about equality between men and women , why is it called feminism? Should it not be called egalitarianism? How do you give a movement the name feminism, and then say it is a movement focused on equality between men and women. Feminism is primarily a gynocentric movement which only focuses on 50% of the population. If it was really about equality then it would focus on everyone's issues not just women's issues. The movement does not even have a gender neutral name.

No, that's completely silly. Men are just as "evil" as women. The difference is that our society is becoming much more permissive of the darkest and most evil aspects of female human nature. You only need to point to divorce law to prove this point. Men would be pretty disgusting as well if the darkest aspects of our nature were left unchecked in the same manner.

Hypergamy is completely natural for women, in a state of nature. Hypergamy refers to women gravitating only to men with considerably higher sexual market value, wealth, social status, and power. Not necessarily just income. What's fucked up is that hypergamy is able to coincide with a government that empowers females and shit like "pay equity acts". Feminism was about allowing women to mate hypergamously, but simultaneously making it harder for a man to actually HAVE that higher status required.

The high value man (social status) only wants the high value woman (attractive and young). If a woman is ugly and desperate enough, she will have to settle for the lower status man or be alone for the rest of her life. I learned the reality at an early age that I was never going to attract an Alpha Male.

I guess that's also worth noting. A man's sexual market value is largely variable, there's lots of things he can do to improve it. A women's value is unfortunately mostly fixed. Beyond cosmetic upkeep or surgery, there's not much she can do to raise her value, which is unfair to women, but not really something that will ever improve. A woman is, however, much more likely to be upward seeking and less tolerant of unfavorable disparity between her perceived value of her and her partner.

I did. And she was the worse relationship that I ever had..and she was a Black American woman on top of that.
I was making 70K annually..she was making 120K..I thought the shit was going to work out..but she always thought I was cheating on her with my PUerto Rican friends (we never fucked although we kissed months after the Black woman and I broke up).
Her insecurity drove me nuts and she made me always buy food for her bottomless pit carnivore kids.
