RCA... you are correct there is no oil in Afphanistan however what the USA needed was a pipe line threw Afghanistan. The first act by the new Government was to grant to American Oil Companies, the right to build this pipe line. Only one country was allowed to bid on this, the USA. Oil has everything to do with what is happening in that country. The rest is a smoke screen, so we can feel good about what we are doing there.
