You better watch your mouth. CDE made virtual desktops in the early 90s, BEFORE WINDOWS DID. What is CDE? A destkop environment made specifically for UNIX. What is Leopard? UNIX. What is windows not? UNIX. Therefore OS X has more of a right to use multiple desks than windows because of its UNIX base.
Mac OS X and Linux are both UNIX-based. Since Linux has four desktops for sorting out windows, I'm absolutely sure that Spaces is a UNIX-based feature.
To bad Microsoft XP had this a while ago!!
