I'm diggin the new album Keith. I just bought it the other day. Great video!!! You gotta turn of the 'auto focus' off on your camera for those close ups. I had the same problem in some of my videos. As long as the camera is at a fixed distance you don't need auto focus on.  Keep up the good work man you're an inspiration!!!

Wow, is this really Keith Merrow's channel? It's hard for me to listen to new guitarists; I think it's human nature to find "what is comfortable" and stick with it, to stay in our safety zone. How do you set up the guitars with Bflat tuning with 9gauge strings? I actually bought the Loomis signature model, funny enough. I know he is your friend. The strings were very floopy though, kind of annoying. Do you use very light pick attack and compensate by raising the action a bit higher than superlow shred action?

Hey Keith, love your work man!! I own an Ibanez RG 550 and I'm looking to change the pups eventually. I've been looking at Bare Knuckles and Dimarzios and I've seen a few I really like, but since you have much more experience id thought id ask for a recomendation. I like a fat, throaty sound for the neck than can work for any thing from jazz to metal. As for the bridge, I really don't use it much for clean sounds, anything from vintage rock to modern metal. Hope to hear form you soon.

please respond to my question. I am looking to get new pickups for my guitar. My rig is an ibanez rg7321 with no hardware switched out. Brass nut is gonna be placed on it and the frets polished but thats it. My pedal is a metal core ml-2, and my amp is the raven half stack. I wanna get better pickups for my ibanez. Im leaning towards the dimarzio blaze II like used in this vid. I love bright tones. espcially when your tuned to drop A or lower. My friends are telling me to get blackouts. Opinion?

@lectwar I swapped out the Blaze pickups in this guitar for Blackouts and it was a noticeable improvement. I love the Blazes, but I prefer the Blackouts, definitely.
