Link does move slightly faster while a Piece of Power is active. Since the Piece of Power's damage multiplier is ignored when you're wearing the Red Tunic, the speed boost is the only effect it has in that situation.

The old lady swtiches place depending on where you are in dungeon clearing, after the fifth dungeon she gets to animal village I believe

it is cold!!huron is a bit warmer though but in the winter the lake keeps the town warmer than normal and in summer it keepsit cool ( dont ask me how)

@narukamaster2 Thats from the water itself. Its absorbs heat during the summer (making it cooler), and releases it during the winter (making it warmer) ^-^

The double damage upgrade from the color dungeon also adds the knockback, i think.

Catfish Maw was a fun level. One of my fav dungeons in the game. Music is haunting too.

That power piece lasted a long time. Link going uder water is by the mermaid is perverted it is amazing what they let into games. Catfish's maw has epic music.

Ha, just found my Game Boy pocket and this exact game in the DX version =D! The cover was ripped off, so I could only hope it was Links Awakening, and sure was =]. Turns out I left off about 2 episodes ahead of this one. Wow, and to believe I'm picking up where I left off about 9 or 10 years ago estimated =]. This is pretty cool.

you can steal from the shop ours! All you have to do is pick up the item that you want and run around the shop owner until he has his back turn and walk out with it. WARNING!!! Well, the last time I went swimming, I dove really deep down and almost drowned. A lifeguard swam down after me until he realized I was getting air from kissing an oxygen machine. My dog, crippled cousin, and girlfriend were getting air too. We did have to fight a few rock lobsters and Navy SQUEALS, though. . .

As of now, mother 3 is getting close to ending :(

You used Azala's voice for the old lady. I expected the Black Tyrrano to come barging out of the house~ And yeah, she does appear in the Animal Village, but only when you're there. I think there are just two of her sprites in the same place in the game.

Grandma does indeed move to the Animal Village, but I want to say the trigger is completing level 5.

You CAN cheat and save your rupees in the shop...by saving and quitting the game (the games way, not emulator savestates) while they're counting down. I'm not sure if that works in the DX version or not though.

A bunch of level 5 is skippable though, so don't let the place intimidate you.
