  • @Rahebus : Cuál es la idea de burlarse ? espero no seas un cirujano- dentista, eso sería una deshonra para la ética de la Odontología.

    Palodent es un buen sistema de conformación proximal, pero en casos periodontalmente disminuidos, ultimos molares, diastemas o cavidades compuestas y complejas por las caras libres, no sirve.

    Ahora, si ejecutamos una técnica adhesiva en la que agregamos una goma dique MAS todo este conjunto de elementos, la situación se vuelve menos facil.

  • the problem here is the models.

    they do not have periodontal ligament thus tooth mobility is really limited.

  • Jajajajajajajaja!!!...es una broma!...y porque debería ahogarse???...eres Odontólogo o estudiante de Odontología???, porque si lo fueras sabrías que "HOY" se obtura con Aislación Absoluta, eso dentro de muchos otros objetivos es evitar que cualquier elemento caiga hacia la faringe del paciente (no siendo la función principal). Que mal argumento el tuyo!!!...cuando uno no sabe nada es mejor que no opine.

  • I bought them just recently and still haven`t use them. I don`t like the idea of slashing soft tissue by inserting matrix from laterally - may be I`m wrong. And what if crowns are shorter?

  • Soft tissue will heal within 24-72 hours with hardly any post-operative discomfort...however, not getting an adequately sealed or contoured interproximal restoration which allows packed food debris or recurrent cavity development will degrade the patient's hard tissue over years.

  • edit: Yes, they work well- often can be used without wedges. I`d like to see how the biggest matrices are used ;)
