  • The Presidents 2010 Budget lays the groundwork for reform of the American health care system, most notably by setting aside a deficit-neutral reserve fund of $635 billion over 10 years to help finance reform of our health care system to bring down costs, expand coverage, and improve quality.

  • 19691200: "You act like this is free or something?"

    Where exactly in my comments does your sentance refer to?

  • You didnt!But thats the point you want to write about?What about Tax,Fines,Jail?Telling people they have to buy some company's product i'm sorry but thats not Reform!

  • You are not making sence.

    You honestly don't think that what you pay in Fed and Local taxes cover all that you just mentioned for your family and friends use - do you? Come on!!

    Insurance is a protection - promise of reimbursement in the case of loss; paid to people so concerned about hazards that they have made prepayments to cover their losses.

  • What dont make sence?All I have said is in that Bill.

  • Yawn!

  • You fail to answer the question.

    You don't understand that you are paying ONLY a small portion into the kitty but getting way more back in terms of services.

    For example, look at infrastruction and other institutions that Gov, help provide hospitals, roads, police, fire fighters school, sewers, military etc.

    Medicare and social security - do you honestly think that you are getting back what you paid in??

  • Fed taxes go to paying interest on the debt we get from the private company The not Federal Reserve.Taxes for roads?You really think that or is that you belive what they are selling you!WAKE UP

  • Yawn!! Take a pill or something to feel better instead of using the FIX NEWS commentary yourself.

    Roll on 2012 Cheney and Palin - can't wait.

  • sorry your wrong dont watch news on tv .

    I see your Party has your vote on destroying this Republic!

  • Sorry but I think you do watch TV and the Internet otherwise you would not have begun your 2nd sentance as:

    'I see"

  • I think you need to reread the Bill.

    Stop being dense - the Bill it is telling people who don't have insurance - those 45 million ish who are not covered - NOT everyone and it is tell the insurance and medical services that they can not longer pull a fast on on the America public.

  • The Gov. is pulling a fast one on you!You need to read the Bill and stop using the Dem's talking points!

  • Yawn - sorry can't stop when you have no rhetoric.

    When hasn't govs. pulled fast ones??

    So you'd rather the uninsured go eat cake!!

    You probably drive a car - car insurance - nothing different. A protection mate that is all it is.

    Roll on 2012 Cheney and Palin - can't wait!!!

  • I dont have to buy car.Thats the difference!

  • Stop splitting hairs - if you lived in NY the subway is subsidized as are most things. Apart from big business most services and infrastructure are subsidized.

    So you go on the bus - or you have a bike?? Big deal.

  • Liar - you only read the part where it say you have to contribute!!! Why should I have to cover you payment - now that is a burden on me and others.

    I must be getting to you as you have taken to obscene lang. Hee hee.

  • Official Summary of the Senate Bill

    7/14/2009--Introduced.America&apos;s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 - Sets forth provisions governing health insurance plans and issuers, including:

    (1) exempting grandfathered health insurance coverage from requirements of this Act;

    (2) prohibiting preexisting condition exclusions;

    (3) providing for guaranteed coverage to all individuals and employers and automatic renewal of coverage;

  • Thats from July,thats not the same as now something is added every day. They are good points but thats not my point . My point is telling me i Have too!Why are you not talking on these points?

  • So what it that you have to do in the US?

    1) Get educated (is this cost free?)

    2) Register births, deaths and marriage (all have a cost involved?)

    3) Not break Fed and State laws (when you do is this cost free?)

    4) Buy car insurance (is this cost free?)

    Pay STATE and LOCAL TAXES

    5) Buy homeowners insurance (is this cost free?)

    So those who don't have health coverage are to pay for their healthcare. Better than going bankrupt and losing everything.

  • WHO WONT BE HAPPY? Healthy young people who might prefer not to buy insurance at all will probably be forced to by a federal mandate. That is all to the good. When such people get into a bad accident or contract a serious illness, they often cant pay the cost of their care, and the rest of us bear their burden. Moreover, conscripting healthy people into the insured pool would help reduce the premiums for sicker people.

  • i live in Tennessee! We tried this same plan ! My government insurance under Federal Poverty Guidelines has been gone for four years under a Democratic Governor! I would still have a tenncare/blue cross card, if Democrats fixed insurance! Thank you! Ms pelosi 's health care must be Luxurious! She Deserves it, by being better than us! Washington Royalty, all!

  • Nancy Pelosi has done a great job in getting this Health Bill passed in the House.

    Well done America the majority has spoken. That is all that matters.

    People objected when they tried they voted for Medicare and Social Security - things change - get over it. The Dems won and they have the right to bring forward their Bills and vote on them.

  • Have you read this bill? You act like this is free or something?Please read the bill.

    And for the majority you can not and will not make me Buy any company's product or tax,fine or put me in jail for not buying one!Thats whats in this HC bill.Wake up and stop looking in one hole when there millions of holes.Please LOOK

  • We live in a democracy. You can do whatever you please.

    But I for one, care about the 122 that die every day because they could NOT afford medical services to save themselves: which translates in approx 44,500+ a year deaths - which translates into an uncompassionate society, one of greed, self-interest and arrogrance that a country such as ours with a GDP that accounts for a 1/4 of the world, could be so uncaring for the welfare of its citizens/ Yes please LOOK yourself.
