  • i paid five hundred for my gi expert from buds guns. good gun , love it for the price, easy take down but the barrel bushing to turn on is a pain in my ass.

  • I like you.:)

  • what do you think abaut taurus 1911 ?

  • I've been eyeing Para 1911s for a long time but never sure of the quality. How you feeling about this gun now? How many rounds you put through it? Also, if you ever get tired of going to the gym there are easy ways to get fit at home. I lost 40lbs by working out at home 2 pant sizes ago with just a bar and some weights. Also run 2 times a week.

  • @MikesMethods i know this wasnt directed at me but i had to give you a hand, buy Rock Island Armory GI 1911.45 it IS a WWII era 1911. RIA bought the Machines from Colt to bulid their 1911's so RIA = Colt GI A2 you will get a VERY hight quality 1911 for $400 to $450. so your buying a $400 colt cant beat that can ya! ive got 1000 rounds threw my RIA .45 in 4 months and had 1 problem due to me. just thought ide give a little help to a fellow gun lover. if you havent got one yet.

  • @ChrisCorle01 Thank you! No, I blew my money on a Vector Arms Ak-47. lol But I'll be looking into this 1911 from Rock Armory because...everyone has GOT to have a 1911. Tradition! My grandpa carried and trained with one in the navy. And I really like the caliber. Shot the Sig P220 before and that 45 feels nice. Yeah, I would go for the GI version because its like the HARley of handguns.

  • im likeing the black finsh

  • Too bad that Para is no longer Canadian, they moved it into the US. So no longer Canadian.

  • Thumbs up for letting Youtube keep the ads so that the people making the videos can have an incentive to make better videos.

  • Desert Eagle 1911 G baby. Talk about quality.....699 OUT THE DOOR.

  • You being a left handed shooter, I wanted to know. What gun do you feel is best feel out of all your guns, the right handed ones? Is there a favorite you prefer because the safeties and features are easy to get to?

  • @NIT2LOSEIT Glock

  • @NIT2LOSEIT I like your set up. Really like the wood checkered grips. Mind if I ask you what brand they are?

  • good video

  • 2:45 for the gun

  • sure, it matters the weapon, but it matters a hell of a lot more whos using it...

  • Hey there dude, I am so glad u showed this video. My first gun I got is my remy 870 a month ago just to blow off some steam. I have been looking at some 1911 and urs seem totally for me.

  • Dude, because of this video, I do believe that my next trip to the gun shop will be to buy one of these Para GI Experts. I had read about it in magazines, but nothing compares to video. I think it's perfect. I may get a matching pair!

  • @humans4targets2 hey man i really need your help!!!!!! im thinking of selling my XDM 40, S&W 57, S&W 686, and my beretta m9 for a les baer premier II . I might do this tomorrow if the guy who owns the store is in. I think im gonna do it what do u think

  • @TheChamberofFarts I love the Les Baers, and have wanted one for a long time, I say go for it! And do a video of it lol

  • @humans4targets2 well i did it. ill be uploading the video as soon as i can

  • @TheChamberofFarts Sounds good bro, let me know!

  • @TheChamberofFarts Been 6 months and you still did not upload the video of your Les Baer that you traded your XDM 40, S&W 57, S&W 686,and beretta m9 for.....

  • wich 1911 do you like the absolute best? ur springfield gi, para, or rock isaland armory? i want a low cost 1911.

  • @baracade777 I would say Rock Island 1911

  • @humans4targets2 thnx.

  • @baracade777 I'd go for the Rock Island, hands down the best quality 1911 for the money.

  • nice gun man

  • When you put the rosewood grips on, my knees got weak.

  • @bowiePPballistic Try buds gun shop online or impact guns online.

  • I like how he says "This is --Of Course-- made in Canada."

  • would you take this over a glock 17 or 19 i can get any one of these guns and

  • Pretty is as pretty does.Shoot 1000 rounds through this 1911 and let us know how many times it jams. thanks

  • @suziohug theres already a vid of someone shooting 1000 rounds

  • Hi. Does the Para require the use of a "Para" magazine or would other market magazines work in it as well - like the Wilson Combat mag?? THX. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • @buzzclark All standard 1911 mags work.

  • Humans you are one of my favorite gun gurus and I was wondering if you had seen the new Remington R1 1911 and if so which would you suggest ? The Para you are showing or the Remington. I watched Todd J shoot the 1000 rounds so I know this is a reliable gun. We pay more for everything in Canada and my choice is between these two. Kimber is gonna have to wait for now. Kimber $1100+tax and up and Para Remington $700+ tax . $500 for 1000 rounds.

  • @paininthe10 I really like that Rem 1911 but I have not even held one yet, I do want to get one. I would say it comes down to choich of what one you think looks better lol, and the rem has steel trigger and the para is polymer....

  • i love yoer vidio and u have graet gun i love colt guns

theis my e-mail jopitor_1@yahoo.com i hopp talk with u and ask u apot some things apot guns

  • @mggovo What are you retarded, you Egyptian camel slop catcher?

  • so how does it handle today?

  • Good looking gun and great review.

  • springfield's operator series 1911s are made in USA 100%. sucks that i can't remember but you can tell by the first one or two letters in the serial number. i'd prefer a US made 1911 but reputation means a lot more when your families' life or yours is at stake. That GI is nice and tight looking. would look good with a stainless or aluminum trigger to get that nice two-tone look happening. to each his own. Enjoy! Shoot safe!

  • @Gettoblaster80 Springfrield's 1911s are assembled in IL, but a lot of the parts are manufactured in Brazil. It says so on some of the frames, but it kinda depends on which one you buy. I've seen a couple that don't say mnfg in Brazil, but most of the ones I check out do.

  • @Ninja808Mike That is correct, if more American parts are used then it does not have to be stamped Brazil, but bet your bottom dollar that Brazil parts are on all springfields

  • How much did this gun cost you?

  • How many guns, in total do you have??

  • what do you think of a springfield armory 1911 GI?

prices on para a springfield is on cheaperthan dirt

  • MY FRIEND I HAVE FOUND IT IM ON BUDDGET HAVE BEEN LOOKIN 4 A 1911 AND U HAVE HELPED ME OUT NICE VID BUDDY

  • 500?! i'm so clad i found this vid thanx for posting

  • .I.

  • nice good video

  • nice

  • Hello again. Regarding the Para Mags - could this 1911 use any generic 1911 magazines or does it HAVE TO BE a para magazine ONLY. Thank You. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • A Rock Island 1911 is cheaper and is as close to GI as you can get for a 1911 while paying $400 or less. Lifetime warranty and the one I own has fed anything I put through it.

  • @SgtGarand I took a look at both this gun and the RIA 1911 because of their relatively low prices. The RIA I ended up buying was less expensive, had no plastic parts (trigger, for instance), came w/ wood grips, and a beavertail grip safety. The best part? The trigger on the RIA has no detectable creep and breaks extremely cleanly - almost as though it was just a slightly heavier version of the trigger on my Colt Gold Cup National Match. The trigger on the Para is what turned me off...

  • @AKJeeper i was supprised at the trigger on my RIA as well. id like to smooth it out a lil more and put a nice beavertail on it but otherwise i love the gun

  • I love the contrast with the black/blued frame and polished barrel (maybe stainless steel) sharp looking gun.

  • nice!!!!!!! i want one

  • those wood grips really make a world of difference looks wise, how much did they run you if you don't mind me asking?

  • @poptube87 They are around 25 bucks

  • Have you looked into or shot one of the Deasert Eagle 1911 G's? I'm hearing nothing but good things. New they're more expensive (mid $700 range), but they are pretty well set up as far as options go. I'm probably going to be ordering one this friday. supposed to have fantastic trigger pull.

  • stop runnin ya mouth and show the gotdamn gun

  • Lol i was just kidding playa

  • I got a GI Expert ESP new and absolutely love the gun!! I got a Kimber Ultra Carry 2 at the same time. I had Pachmayr black rubber wrap-around grips with finger grooves put on my Para to duplicate how the grips on the Kimber feel. All I can say about my GI ESP is WOW!! Dead on target, no feeding issues (wish I could say that for the Kimber) and just a joy to shoot!!

  • I got a GI Expert ESP new and abesolutely love the gun!! I got a Kimber Ultra Carry 2 at the same time. I had Pachmayr black rubber wrap-around grips with finger grooves put on the my Para to duplicate how the grips on the Kimber feel. All I can say about my GI ESP is WOW!! Dead on target, no feeding issues (wish I could say that for the Kimber) and just a joy to shoot!!

  • I just got mine yesterday. Cant wait to shoot it. looks like a great gun. Ill give an update after I shoot it. Thanks for the video. You are great, very good videos.

  • @Longbowmech15r Sounds good man!

  • good looking gun. how does it shoot? any videos?

  • Nice shout,out to Mc Donald's lol

  • @jamesblunto94520 Was that called for?

  • lol your username is humans4targets2 and you review guns. pretty good.

and yeah my username isnt exactly pleasant, but at-least im not reviewing babies.

  • Nice piece here ! Let me know where to send the check and I would gladly pay $450 ! Now you have me debating on whether to go with Rock Island or Para. At least the Para is made in north america and I like the 3 dot sights. Not a real fan of the polymer trigger though. Maybe I'm weird but just for looks I like the origional grips better.

  • boner achieved

  • your right sir i did just find it

  • I hate to be redundant if someone has already brought this up, but your Para was made right here in NC. Para moved their whole operation (administration and manufacturing) to Pineville just outside of Charlotte. It's actually one of the reasons I just special ordered one of these. I'm a big fan of buying domestic.

  • thumbs up to get the ads off of youtube

  • @fuckyoubitch5495 lol people who puts the videos up with ads im pretty sure they get paid for it

  • @fuckyoubitch5495 If youtube had no ads, you would be paying for it by now.

  • @fuckyoubitch5495

    No Ads = High Prices.

  • To bad you ca't get the norinco's in the states, good guns.

  • When you said low-cost 1911, I thought you were going to say Taurus or Rock Island Arms. I'm glad you did the review of the Para 1911. I want a 1911 style pistol, this looks like a good choice.

  • whats a good cleaner for this gun/ lubricant?

  • To,@humans4targets2. I purchased a Smith and Wesson 1911. It is made in the USA and I love it. Mine is stainless and has a extended bever tail and skelotonised ajustible trigger and a non spurred hammer. I did pay more though. I paid around $800.00. I swear by this gun and would bet my life on it.

  • Love the videos, i just subscribed. Iv been wanting a 1911 for so long, but there all so expensive. How would you compare this to the RIA Tactical?

  • would you recommend this gun as a carry gun ? i'm looking forward towards a 1911 but all the other brands such as sig, kimber, ed bauer etc. all cost a lot.

  • hey targets love your vids bro..i have a question...what do you think about phillipino made 1911s?i want a colt government model but also seen a american tactical imports titan made in the phillipines..do you think they are junk or decent?

  • It was good for me...

  • nobody cares about your goddamn youtube page or your diet............ GET TO THE FUCKING GUNS ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @gguitarpro Hey, shut the fuck up?

  • Would yall recommend the gi expert or the xdm 9mm? Price wise $468 gi, and the xd for $580? 8x2 mags vs 19x5 mags? Idk what do yall recommend?

  • @jemustang1966

the gi expert is a treasure

    get 2 if you can

  • The "guy" your talkin about is Todd Jarret and the guns he puts thru the torture test is a single stack... not trying to be mean just informative

  • It's funny that it's referred to as a lower cost gun made in Canada , cause they sure aren't what you would call cheap here. $699 + tax .... Everything costs more here..

  • Actually, Para just moved its entire operation to Pineville NC. I've been torn a little between the Remington R1 and this Para. I have a para 9mm Carry Nine which has been a good gun, great carry piece. The only - has been the finish hasn't seemed to stand up to the rough use I give it. That para coat finish seems to chip pretty easily. However the customer support has been great, I cracked the hand guards and they shipped me new ones free of charge. Those rosewood grips look great, how much?

  • how is the trigger? is it stiff or do you need a trigger job?

  • lol and i saw an airoft gun for a 1000$ (it was a systema)

  • Do you prefer this gun over your Springfield 1911 GI?

  • How has the finish worn on your Para GI Expert?

  • @jkmcdani Pretty good so far.

  • The name may say Para USA yet its a Canadian company. Like how it says CZ-USA yet its a Czech company.

  • is that Para...as in Para-Ordnance, like the P models? grips look like it, so ill say yes but is it a P model or something seperate?

  • Cool gun dude! Keep up the great videos!

  • hmmm i think ill stick with the remington 1911

  • The Competitor is Todd Jarret. The Pistol is a Para SSp entry single stack pistol...good video.

  • The Competitor is Todd Jarret. The Pistol is a Para SSX entry single stack pistol...good video.

  • Nice gun. Where did u buy it? Did u take it to the range yet?

  • What Is A Good Websites To Buy Cheap But High Quality Guns, Thanks

  • It is a really cool banner!

  • um thats called the slide not the frame

  • Really wished they had gone for the classic spur hammer and - as you stated - metal trigger. I know that the without the long beaver tail it might snag - but that classic spur hammer in conjunction with that short tail is a beauty....

  • awesome banner ,sweet dogs cool gun just put mine on layaway after wathing this vid will pick it up soon. good for you working out man.thanks for the awesome reviews keep it up

  • I bought one last week. I compared this to the Springfield GI, Rock Island, Auto Ordnance and Taurus and the Para seemed to have the nicest fit and finish. The Rock Island was so rough, especially the barrel, I couldn't bring myself to save a hundred bucks on it despite good reviews.

  • I just wanted to say only some springfield 1911's are made in Brazil. Their lower end models are but the higher end ones are made in the US. I agree though for a 1911 in that price range, para is a great great gun, better than RIA, CD and Taurus.

  • @gboyd242 I have to differ with you on that one ALL frames and slides are made in Brazil, I will be glad to send you send you Springfields number and they will tell you.

  • @humans4targets2 Isnt there some that have been made in the U.S.?

  • @humans4targets2 I prefer to buy an all US made 1911. What are my choices? I'm not against foreign firearms. In my collection I have a Norinco MAK90 and a Springfield XD40 but when it comes to my 1911, I really want to stay US made.

  • 450.oo used?? Why not get new for 50.00 more?

  • @om3gadagg3r 50 more and taxes and paper work, for a gun the same condition as this one??

  • @om3gadagg3r Why not save $50 and get one that doesn't have a paper trail and avoid sales tax (depending on the state)?

  • @gboyd242 LOL some people complain no matter what I do!!!! lol

  • @humans4targets2 thanks so much for your time and videos!

  • Nice rig - I am looking at getting a 1911 and this is one I will seriously look at.

Thanks for posting & keep up the good work.

    :)

Thanks for posting & keep up the good work.

    :)

  • @SafeArmsReview Thanks, and it is a pretty nice 1911.

  • Nice rig - I am looking at getting a 1911 and this is one I will seriously look at.

Thanks for posting & keep up the good work.

    :)

  • The gi expert beats the brakes off any charles daly or rock island imho. Great vid. Take care

  • I love my GI Expert. Paid $510 + Tax new. I currently have around 750 rounds thru it with only one failure to go into battery (stovepipe) during a slide release with a Remmington Golden-Saber HP. During use it has yet to fail me.

  • are you able to make a livin posting videos on youtube? I know some poeple earn money but never knew how they did it?

  • @eastofakron1 I am a partner and I do make money from this, but that is not the reason I do video's I was doing video's long before I became a partner.

  • @humans4targets2

Its awesome when you get paid to do what you love.

  • Very nice gun! Nothing sub par about it and hell its not going to break the bank to upgrade the trigger if you just realy cant live with the stock one.And its my opinion that full lenght guide rods are over rated.

  • very nice looking for 500...when i do get my first 1911 it will have to be a springfield armory...

  • Great vid, very nice looking 1911 (especially with the rosewood grips). I'm thinking about getting a Remington R-1. I kind of like the hammer on your Para better than the standard spur. Also, I think your Para is 8+1, right? Nice.

  • I love the 1911! It's so beautiful and badass at the same time!

  • this pistol is my uncle main pistol as a PMC in Afghanistan

  • Thanks for posting, well done.

  • Low cost *and* high quality? Pfff. Cycle the slide, hold the gun, like you were going to shoot it and shake it back and forth. Hear the rattles? Some are quite accurate and reliable and that's all you can ask of a gun.

  • @dbuschhorn The barrel unlocks when the slide is in the rear, I can tell you dont know much about guns. For $499 what do you want gold plating on the gun?? How many shots would you let someone fire at you with this "rattley" gun?? LOL

  • @humans4targets2 What I mean is, low cost does not buy high quality. The gun is almost certainly reliable and as accurate as a $600-700 1911 can be. Which is decent. More than decent. it's hard to go wrong with JMBs platform. I like that hammer better than the original. And any .45 is as deadly as an A-bomb, to the shootee. I shoot a Les Baer Custom. Wilson Combat trigger, barrel, bushing, ed Brown ejector, extractor, springs and firing pin. I will never go back to anything else!!!

  • @dbuschhorn I have been looking on the used market for the right Baer and I am going to be picking one up.

  • @humans4targets2 You will be happy. Well, happier. Check out John at Proload. His number is 208-772-2339. Really good guy, knows his stuff and I have no idea how he gets his guns at such low prices. Lots in stock, as well.

  • @dbuschhorn Cool, I will look into it.

  • @dbuschhorn HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, best comment of the day, Every pistol with a browning style lock rattles when the slide is back, LOL seriously best comment all day.

  • I might have to look into getting one of these. Thanks for the review.

  • looks good for being used.

  • Selling my Springfield 1911 .45.... let me know if your interested

  • @shaunoliver1 What finish is it and how much are you asking?

  • @humans4targets2

I have 2 guns for sale now. Springfield is Matte finish in mint condition in original case w/original booklet, cleaning brush,6 clips, easy loader, kydex holster. It has the stainless barrel and titanium firing pin. asking $550.00.

The 2nd Gun is a Ruger P-97 .45 in Mint condition in original Box. This is the Stainless Slide and Barrel, and the Kydex frame. It comes with 2 stainless clips. Asking $320.00

  • im a Glock/M&P guy but i would die for an origional colt 1911 handgun

  • Thanks for the video, I always like your videos and learn a great deal from you. Thanks again.

  • What replacement parts are good for tuning up a Firestorm 1911 Govt. model and a 2-Tone 1911 Firestorm?

  • @glennwih I have no idea on that one my friend

  • Thanks for the video. Let me ask you this; the slide safety, is it loose? Not crisp? The reason I ask is because I saw another review where a guy used the term to describe it as "vague." That has me a little concerned for cocked and locked carry. I'm probably going to pick one up tomorrow but I'd like to hear your opinion about this aspect of the gun. Thank you. -Rob.

  • @boulevardlard Yeah I saw that review as well.... Mine feels fine to me, just like the other 1911's I have or have had....

  • Firestorm .45 1911 with Horandy Critical Defense Ammo, simply the best for the money.

  • ONE WORD..........NICE

  • NICE GI EXPERT IAM GOING TO GET ONE SOON

  • nice vid!

  • i got ecactly the same gun only airsoft but mine got all the things what that gun has like saftey and how to disasemble it and even the mag button is the same

  • lol i got the same gun but than it is airsoft it is the yt385 from

    w w w (.) toysdreamworld (.) c o m

  • I will pick the taurus 1911 over the Para for 80 bucks more.

  • @macuarr0

and you would be making a huge mistake. This gun shoots the doors off a Taurus. I just bought one and got it to the range today. I put 600 rounds through it without a break. All 600 were dead on and not a HINT of any failures. This Para is the truth!

  • Comment removed

  • That 1911 makes a Charles Daly look like a Hi-point. Para makes a nice rig.

  • I know you're big on bore axis and at around 9:15 you're holding it and it seems like it's maybe an inch and a half. Doesn't that seem high or is that okay?

  • @Spev142 Thats because you were also counting the rear sight, the bore axis is pretty low and the bore axix ends under the rear sight.

  • It's a cool banner, props all round, i'm trying to lose some weight too man, it's tough.

But i know it's gonna be worth it.

    Nice gun review too.

  • do you know if the 9mm version is bad or good ?

  • @imachku I have not heard anything bad about them, but I never owned one.

  • banner is awesome. nice review
