The music at the end wasn't really from I LOVE LUCY. When CBS first reran that series, they edited out material, shortening the episode length. In the episode "Fan Magazine Interview," CBS used this transition music in one of their edits. They used it because the original Desilu music was longer; they had shortened the scene, so they had to shorten the music, replacing the Desilu music with their own. I'm guessing CBS also reran OUR MISS BROOKS and similarly edited out Desilu's music here.
Oh, and incidentally, the I LOVE LUCY episodes on DVD have been restored to their original length, for the most part. So unlike what you see in television reruns, the "Fan Magazine Interview" episode is restored to the way it was originally broadcast, so in that scene, you hear the original Desilu music, not this CBS music that you hear in the television reruns. They talk about this in one of the bonus sections on the DVD.
Thanks for posting these! I used to watch reruns of Our Miss Brooks when I was a kid. It was a wonderful show. I wish TVLand or some cable channel would bring it back, but I guess that's wishful thinking.
Oh Desi is hilarious in this! hahas.

If you listen closely, you learn that Desi is pronounced dessy, not dezzy.

I noticed for myself as a little kid that Eve Arden and Lucille Ball looked so much alike.

That Eve Arden was some actress...like another version of Joan Davis.
